It's your car so whatever you do with it is the right choice. If you're asking for input, what are you building it for? I linger longer at restored period correct cars at shows, but i giggle and grin more in a heavily molested hot rod. If you're building a channel, it might make for good backup content along the way. i.e. waiting on parts for x so this week we're doing y to the Plymouth.

This thing is awesome. My opinion; Work truck white Keep blue int 413 4spd Slot mags 440 is cool but 413 is a conversation piece. Period correct street car would be cool.

On your windshield tilt out you can make a c shaped sloted piece with a pivot mount on the dash so when you close it you can pivot the slowed piece up towards the windshield and it want be sticking out towards the inside!

Doug ..In reference to the Trunk Lid Leather straps ..They may look better if you had a bracket attached to the bottom end of the Trunk Hinges fitted the Leather Straps to that bracket and took them down from that location as you would have a better flown effect .....just a thought ...what do you think ???

Have you tried a different starter, such as #3250? It puts most of the starter near the engine block. Maybe it would give the steering more room?

I have a 24 Dodge Brothers Touring and the post on the top of the frame is for attachment of a top if you’re going to have one.

I like the original dash, just change the instruments.

Since 2 Lane Blacktop and Gassers are overdone, how about a Salt Flat Racer look? The small block with Hilborn injection would be cool,too.

Good job on the hood top. Like seeing how you fabbed that up. The side and center accent reveals look great also. Vintage style leather straps should be a cool look.

I have a tooled leather dash. I have been looking at conchos, they have different kinds with a Chicago screw on them and some of them have two openings on them where you can have leather straps hanging from them. If you're not familiar with conchos their items that are on saddles. 👍 Your creativity is great

I think it's a great build I have a 57 that is or was about the same shape maybe a little better but either way you have a great car to start with I've seen worse 😊

Look at the VIN number on A pillar when you open drivers door. If it begins with a V it was a V8 car. I don't see the holes under the taillights for V8 emblems so it was probably a 6 cylinder car. Belairs did come with 6 cylinders or V8's. I think it's a great project. I'd build it and I've built worse ones.

Let it sit in the garage and talk about what Iam gonna do to it for the next few years

Restore it. It will eventually be worth more and way more desirable for many people with real money. Too many of these are hacked by people that think they are doing the greatest thing on earth for their fame, including commenters, of which I am. I have one advantage over most, time and by that I mean age. Having seen a lot of trends, seems the most desirable all the time is the restored version.

Whatever you end up doing you cross the first hurdle by owning it. 👍

Why are you going through all that trouble with just some old crappy pipe won't you use some stainless steel ?

Looks great! I would have tucked the pipe from the header in closer to the frame at the front.
