I love Mama's Family, what a great show it was. I still watch it when it comes on Logo, Eunice is one of the most interesting characters, she tries so hard to please Mama, but Mama is never satisfied. My family tells me to get to the point when I'm telling a story all the time.

Mama does *not* fall down the stairs! 🙄 She pulls a lamp over.
Ed took too much abuse and was the more ambitious of these characters. He at least owned his own business and did what he could to support his family without Eunice having to work, and they showed their unappreciation for him.

Sue Ellen just wanted to get away from the insane family.
Having a baby at age 41 was more than I had bargained for at the time. The less help coming from me for 7 weeks and my slower pace than a 20 year old for a whole year after that too while recovering from childbirth precipitated a downwards spiral of unfortunate events for me alone only at first. For example while my one foot was slipping while sweating too much I had to shape shift into a sled for my son Jack for a bit while hanging onto him when sitting in his chair to be totting him around from room to room. Being ready for love too that evening with a sore back was hard to do. Oh well. I did recover somehow. Not well enough to compete with the younger women later though. Like after for example breaking my achilles tendon on one ankle while trying to run after one infant one the move out of our unfenced back yard next while I had no shoes on yet. Moving in with one of my 4 adult children now? Forget that noise. Something which my own mother saw through too after she fell down a flight of stairs first. While on her way to check on me once long before then. I am going to have nothing to do with that after watching more than one Carol Burnett comedy episode warning me about what that might be like. Unless they have their own self contained suite with their own bathroom and their own separate entrance to the same. Our only explanation now? Being on the tall side no matter what our age group is.

Mama Harper was one of the nastiest, most miserable characters ever.
She revelled in making others as miserable as she was.
She was more loveable in Mama’s Family.

Sometimes real life is comedy, if you can't laugh at some of the things you will just cry too much, more fun to laugh

This has been cut..it shows Eunice cleaning the Kitchen Floor, because later on Eunice brings up the fact when Mama was sleeping she cleaned the floor! I truly hate it when jerks edit these shows! Failure.
