Thermite Proteus is a name right up there with the Randall 'Paul Stanley' Colossus. I think that the sounds you can get out of both those amps are similar. Industrial disease! Feel the heat. Well, I'm going to go and get the specs on this amplifier can't wait to find out what it's all about. Thermite Proteus take no prisoners.
1 amp doesnt make this what it seems...but if they ALL play with that versatility...and there are a number of them...then it seems to be a winner....it struck me as very versatile with the sweep of the gain...and not a huge sweep. Nice tones...could be faked but IF real then I would be up for one.
@@kenl827I'm still not 100% convinced, how could one seemingly simple single channel amp contain all these different tones? It's like this clip is a compilation of 5 different amps, one section I was sure was a Mesa, another I was sure it was a VH4. I dunno man, hard to believe, if all these sounds are truly from this one Thermite, I'd want one too!
@@fluidaudiogroup the Genius is behind alain Benoit mind at Thermite . He figure way to use his x knob to Make the Amp to have à wide range of frequencies couple with the inboard boost to accomplish high Tone . This thing is so inspiring and fun to play ! À 100w would be my steak amp
Next to Mike Fortin, Alain Benoit is a god amongst amp circuits. Great video, awesome amp, and great playing to show it off properly.
@@Ghostman1846 thank you!
Yeah Alain is the man. Should be more recognized

Cleanliness is next to godliness😏
Ça a l'air de grogner ce petit ampli là 🥵
Ça sonne comme mille kilogramme de briques!
