Chris Michaels is actually my father! It was really interesting to hear about the whole process of restoring this building from him every day and it turned out beautifully.

This is a wonderful video. My family was all Wilkinsburg people. They're all gone now, most are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.

My father owned a restaurant in Wilkinsburg in the 60’s. I loved that little town.💖 Thanks 😊

I would TOTALLY be hype to use this station for trips eastward to Philly rather than have to go downtown! Would this station be available for that?

It is amazing how much a community can do when they work together for worthwhile project. My hope is that this is only the start of the resurgence of Wilkinsburg.

It’s amazing how they had to find the brilliant guy in his upper 80’s to create the molding. The art and craftsmanship is being lost. They should hurry and train others for historical restoration.

I'm pleased to see this demo of investment in Wilkinsburg. Leaders, PLEASE, don't kick the Blacks out in the name of "development"!

This is all very interesting but most of Wilkinsburg is a dump. I went to Wilkinsburg High. Virtually everything you needed was sold in business district stores. Now? Drive through and see for yourself.

It would make a swell tran station, move Amtrac to Burgh as the Penn station Amtrac is n embarrassment! This would take a world of negotiation with Norfolk Southern and a arrangement of their tracks. Too bad it will just be ome another empty mall.

And now it's Feb of 2023 and the damn thing is still just sitting there. All that time and money just wasted.

Worst idea ever ,why, it's not gonna bring back trains or end plight it's wasted money.theres far better ideas to build jobs this is like having an antique,it's all show and no go.👎 A restaurant,or a food store great idea .for low income families, taking donations to help.
