I've been eyeballing turbodork for a couple weeks now, so thanks for sharing! I might have to get the metallic set for myself. Also, really interesting that your bug didn't turn out like what's in the bottle. I know with Vallejo's shifters you can go too heavy and run the shift. Not so much with Createx's shifting line, which is my all time favorite
Thank you Josh!! They are nice. Im not sure what I did wrong with the Bug lol, I think maybe I thinned it out to much or put on too heavy like you said. Going to try it again with a black base and a grey base. Bottle says to use a black base lol
Great video, Manny! Nice colors. Would make for a great lowrider. Looks like the paint goes on really smooth. Have to admit I'm a bit jealous you got to find time to sit at the bench to airbrush (even if it you are shooting just spoons). LMAO
@@Mannysscalemodeling I had to bring my computer downstairs, so I can sneak in time to create new files to print. Changing the wheels and brakes on the Fairlane.
Thank you Larry!! Thats what I was thinking too lol, it says on the bottle black base. Im going to try it again on black and I will try it on the grey too thanks for the idea Larry!!
Thanks Adrian!! If you go on the website click on Find A Retailer, scroll down and it shows some dealers in the area or shoot them an email im sure they ship world wide I think lol.
hi Manny...that was a great tutorial...which clear did you use?? the VW did come out different...is it because you used a dark primer...thx 4 sharing... vinny
Thank you Vinny!! I used Duplicolor 1k clear on the spoons and figures. I used 2k clear on the Bug. It was weird the bottle says black base lol, Larry suggested grey primer so im going to do that here soon. Thanks Vinny!
Ya gotta love the names of those Turbo Dork colors, especially the shift ones. I picked up a bottle last year cause I loved the name, but still haven't tried it. What clear do you use on it
@@styrenerelics Your welcome Paul, its nice paint! I just got in my Turbo Dork Thinning Medium today. Going to do a video today and mixing it and spraying it on a spoon.
Hey Zach, I have only used the Goldon Medium and the Turbo Dork Thinning Medium with the paints. I did try Vallejo Air Brush Thinner with them before, it worked ok but not as good as there TD Thinning Medium
