- Today we begin the MLB The Show 24 Franchise with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards are far from being one of the weakest teams in baseball, but they do have one of the most uncertain future. This is an experienced team and one of the oldest in the MLB. Every starting pitcher is at least 32 years old. The best two position players have over 10 years experience. The Cardinals will have to rebuild this organization regardless of their success in the near future. I'm excited to work on restoring this franchise to a championship standard that they have not seen in the last decade.

Steve Padilla looks like was drafted out of Duck Dynasty. All these prospects in the game look like they're 1915 barnstormers trying to get paid under the table, wearing huge fake beards or something. It's like they all stepped out of one of the old House of David photographs.
If Adell continues to perform, I think he'd be a likely candidate to be moved, especially to a tweener playoff team trying to balance depth for a run and prospects. Age/Experience doesn't seem to fit this organization's timing. Hjerpe, McGreevy, and Adell could move together similar to the Padres deal for Hader in 2022, only not as gaudy.

I always switch Jackson Holiday to 2B. If not the CPU either has him DH or make one of their famous ridiculous trades. It's a real problem for sure
I didn’t think dumb prospect trading could get worse than the Brewers always trading Jackson Chourio in last year’s game but you’re absolutely right the Holiday trades are so bad this year

I have Victor Scott in my fantasy draft team on the show. Today, I hit a game tying homer in the playoffs, which helped me when the series. Then the CPU decided to take him off the playoff roster. I had to manually add him back. CPU does funky stuff with the roster moves. He was the only CF on my roster. I was playing Jett Williams in center against lefties.
Yes you have to keep an eye on the playoff roster. They do things that make zero sense.
Agree with the changing positions of other teams prospects to where they make sense. Always have to do it with holliday cause half the time they will end up trading the top prospect instead of working them in another way.
Streams would be great. Would love regular and offseason streams!
Love The Show videos, however NCAA 25 is around the corner, and I am beyond psyched. Thank you for giving me old age something to look forward to (besides seeing my family every night.)

Great episode love seeing all the triple a/ double a pitchers getting good development. For the draft I would focus that first pick on a position player and then 3-6 I would prioritize catcher.Also a game in triple a and double a would be cool to see how the prospects are doing. Lastly I would love to see a live stream definitely will be tuning in!!

Kind of confused why you are more intrigued with David Diaz over Brian Kovalenko when they are both the same age and both have around the same potential and overall.
Cane you need to try 2k again. You can bypass shooting timing by using Real % setting. It would be attribute based kinda like fielding on the show.
Do Polo Grounds wearing some really old throwbacks. Cards have a ton to pick from. Opponent has to be the Cubs, right?

I love Scott but playing him at lead off feels like too much. Even if he has a good average and OBP he will never have the slugging to be worth the extra at bats. I think it would be better to move someone with more power like Gorman or Noot higher up in place of him and have donovan lead off again
