Craft Spells - "After The Moment" | Music 2012 | SXSW

- In the cold and dreary winter of 2009, alone in his bedroom and hidden from the darkness of the world outside Justin Paul Vallesteros had begun working on something that would change his life forever. What began as a couple notes played in experimentation soon transformed into vibrant melodies that soon shook Vallesteros' musical foundation to the core. Guitar chords laced over pulse sating synth melodies and drum rhythms was a departure from Justin's previous work; he began to create the dreamy nostalgic pop music that is Craft Spells. Joined by Jack Smith (bass), Javier Suarez (lead guitar) and Peter Michel (drums), they recently returned from a European tour and plan on releasing a new ep February 2012.
un Rolón!!! como la disfruto
What people don't understand is this is SXSW, the biggest independent music conference in the country, he got ask to play and now has to perform in front of music industry labels and agencies, so you can understand why he might sound a bit nervous and crack his voice on occasion, this could potentially be the biggest moment in his career.
My favourite Craft Spells track! Seeing him live next week I hope he still does After the Moment live!
I love these guys
They sound so much nicer on the track :(
Unice Tan live music isnt supposed to be perfect

Amo este tema
He sings so out of tune. It’s embarrassing.
Post a video of you singing you then. You have 5 minutes
OPTIC23100 no need to, I can’t sing. That is why I am not in a band and I don’t pretend to know how to sing.
Usually, first-time singers are very RAW, they are nervous, and they practice and get better.
He is a good musician but he cant sing. His melody is really good and the synth choice is so catchy. He can have someone else sing for the band. Some people are not born to sing. Does not make you cant be a musician.
Nah it's best how it is that's why it's indie music. He's an incredible songwriter and not everyone is born with the best singing potential but it's his voice to his lyrics and that's what makes it. It actually gives me relief knowing that someone like me with mid vocals too can still do it.
i get so disappointed when i listen to a great album like "idle labor" (which is one of my fav albums of all time) and then i watch live perfomances of them playing so badly smh he needs some reverb on his vocals to disguise his bad singing skills. they just need more practice as a band before they go out to play these songs imo
