Another way of saying "weirdness" is saying Goldblum doesn't hide his light under a bushel. Often, people who express their unadulterated thoughts and excitement in the moment are considered weird in our buttoned-up society.

I just recently saw an old film from the early 70s called Death Wish which I had seen when it came out, and there was a very young man playing a villain who I was surprised to note was Jeff Goldblum. I just laughed because Jeff is certainly not a negative character, and suddenly the whole film changed.

Wow! I’ve liked Jeff’s acting through the years, but really didn’t care for his pompous & smug demeanor when he was interviewed, so I have avoided watching him for quite a while.
As I have much respect for Ari, I decided to watch this interview, and see that, now, Jeff ( and I! ) have both mellowed and matured.

What a hoot! Jeff Goldbloom always seemed a little odd to me. His wit, use of his language, body and senses always seemed be trying to keep up with his intellect. Jeff's endorphins seemed to be raging with glee during this interview. Ari is amazing. No one should have as much going for them as he does.
