I wish my former pastor know about money the same way that was said by Pastor Timothy Txawj Teev Vang in this video this is what I heard from my father when I complained to him that our pastor preached too much about money (like twice every month) and etc., and my father told me that our church is running out of money and the pastor is trying to convince the members to contribute more, but my father also said that whenever the alliance men has gathering or travel out of town, the pastor uses the church money to buy foods for the meeting and travel to be very honest here, the last few months of the pastorship of my former pastor, he preached too much about money and our church was on its way breaking up into the young and old faction. then when the faction finally broke up and the Hmong District recognized the young faction's church (they were located about 10 miles at the time) which made me stop attending church for the past 8~ yrs. the current pastor was the second one because the elders kicked the replacement like a few months later, and the current pastor is really good with money. i think our church's savings (per my parents) about a few hundreds of thousands of dollars. since this current pastor came in, our church sell foods at new year and fundraises - the purpose was to buy a new building.
