Yeah, ZDBT01 decks are very good at the long grind game even Welstra who before was the glass cannon wombo combo kill or die now averages 9 cards in hand turn 3.
DZ card design feels so good, reminds me of LB. Divine skills are surprisingly well balanced given the nutty powercreep from DBT13, so I’m looking forward to DZ’s future
Welstra been improving and pose as a threat with those products card that can retire and move a product card in the reader guard for consecutive attacks and takes 5000 from your vanguard I might build one see how it dies for me i never had a welstra deck
I know Shuura's EBlast 2 skill is really good for getting self retiring rears back, but personally swinging with a big, 2 crit, twin driving vanguard first would've been better to potentially add more pressure, like in the last game where that D-skill drive's crit would've made a (I think) 50k 2 crit Shuura column
10:06 I think you must resolve operate and satellite skill first before you start resolving Berjina on place effect. It is so weird Berjina effect overtake satellite on place skill.
Nope, all of them are effects that activate after meeting their conditions, and the way vanguard works is you can do them in any order you want, and you can do new abilities that get added in before any ability that happened before, thats how vanguard effects wor
might be a high request, but are u guys interested to try back sv evo content, since u guys tried the start deck, esp when theyre essentially making sv edh
I love Blitz so I'm glad that it has a stronger defensive/grind game while also kicking into overdrive on turn 4 for a good aggro game. Varga is probably my new favorite rideline from DZ because who doesn't want to attack with their VG 3 TIMES in a singular turn. Plus, abusing Shura to bring itself back on retire from Varga could be so op if you have 4+ CB to use. You could achieve a 7 attack turn and wipe your opponent off the battlefield lmao
Ironically, people called Welstra worse of the Fated Ones and Varga the best but here Welstra came out on top. Both decks are also surprisingly tanky with how much draw power they have.
Welstra by himself is the worst of thr fated one. Thing is that was done on purpose since he already has previous support. The rest needed to be good since they're new
Also a lot of people were playing Welstra wrong when they made those claims. They were playing like it was still old Welstra where you had to wombo combo vomit your entire hand in a massive bomb turn aiming to kill turn 3 or die if you fail. If you play that way naturally results are gonna look less favorable, but once people realized new Welstra is great at farming a metric ton of advantage while still pushing reliably the results start looking much better. Notice there was no double Maximum yet Welstra still stomped Varga.
@@elin111 Kinda funny that the anime showed it as a rush deck. But the new Product already showed that Welstra wanted to be a tempo deck, as a damage dealer is one of the best way to control the tempo. I don't know why they though he had to play full agrro when the Satellite meant you didn't need to.
Yes, and no You either need to check it on the last 2 drive checks after using divine skill, or attack with VG first and not use his ability, to then check it on the first 2 drive checks If you activate Vargas first ability on the first swing (like you normally would) and then hit the OT, you would stand by the OT, but also by your own ability and still lose drive checks, so it would basically do nothing All in all its possible, but the window to do it is just like the divine skill only once in that game, so its not really worth it
@elin111 Unfortunately, that is the stigma that Varga will have since its a dragon empire boss unit for the next step of the vanguard story that can stand itself upto 3 times.
Forget "reading is hard" its now "Math is hard"
I love it
Varga, dragonic overlord's long lost descendant
Who does everything objectively better than the old washed out hag
Descendant you say? I guess you can call it… a dragonic descendant. (I regret nothing)

Overlord is my soul, i even made a rap about him (Go hard Vanguard) but Varga is catching me

I came here for the match, i left wanting to ask what is the size of the frame you used for the valentine poster

Unrelated to the video but those persona 3 stickers in the background looks so nice

We have videos planned, just a mater of time
*Happy Welstra noises*
I cannot wait to play this when ZBT01 drops.

Great games especially for welstra
So no one is gonna mention puppy sleeping in the back?
Ironically, people called Welstra worse of the Fated Ones and Varga the best but here Welstra came out on top.

Varga is simpler to play, Welstra you have ti be very careful with resources and effect sequencing to make him shine

I’ll take that as a compliment lol

Sorry what was making tye trigger only give 5k?
I’m loving Varga
If you had Dragged as your Overtrigger, does that mean if you check it on your Divine Skill turn you could attack with Vagra 4 times?
Yes, and no

What kind of cameras are you guys using for your setup?
Edit: Sony a7 II and iPhones
@@TopDeckHeroes Nikon for overhead? Or facecam? Looking for good streaming equipment!
One side has overhead sony the other iphone
Both ise iPhone for face cam
Good to know! I assume you guys record through Adobe Premiere or something?
Nope, OBS and just natively on the camera and some phones
Bro, I want that Valentine’s Day poster, where can I order it?
It was added in with the monthly Bushiroad magazine in Japan
Varga! The deck I’d build if it wasn’t going to be so damn expensive!!!
Yeah i dont think im ever gonna run any less than 3 maxims. I run 4 now
2 is actually stable, just don’t be dumb like i was in a lost footage game lol
I remember having to tell my friend that your power can go negative (I was on welstra)
do zorga nadir proxy play please
No
@@TopDeckHeroes 😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Varga. Overlord the next generation
People need to stop calling every restander Overlord when there's plenty more restanders and all of them are better than Overlord.
@elin111 Unfortunately, that is the stigma that Varga will have since its a dragon empire boss unit for the next step of the vanguard story that can stand itself upto 3 times.
But thats the staple, like we used ti call cards amber clones and such, this is an overlord clone, it been accepted as such in the community
@TopDeckHeroes pretty much. My original comment was meant to be a joke but guess because of text it didn't come through as such
Why Blue OT?
Because when you attack with Varga you have to activate the restand ability, so hitting the DE ot is pointless
Let’s go welstra
THE TIME IS NAO!
Love it lol
Yay Varga
