El Sabado, the Sabbath, is Saturday. Even though Jesus rose from the dead and defeated Satan, Emperor Constantine had no business changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Jesus rising on Sunday didn't give us a reason to change God's word. It just reaffirms that Jesus slept through the Sabbath and did a great work (His resurrection and victory over sin) on Sunday, the first day of the week. Pray for our world and its leaders. As a seventh-day-adventist , I appreciate these kind words of Hilary Clinton. These words, however, were spoken 14 years ago. Eventhough our church is the same, I wonder if she still feels the same today as she did then. I hope so,🎉 because I love my church and we are a growing church family, around the world. We love all of God's children and we want to share God's love and His Truth with the world !
I cannot believe how some the way some people are reacting in these comments. It doesn't matter if you believe her. It doesn't matter if you trust her. It doesn't matter weather or not you will vote for her. The Bible says to love all people including your enemies. She still deserves some respect simply because she's human. I may not agree with what she says. I may not even support her or trust her, but I am not going to reduce myself to hate and try to categorize her as evil. That is not my job as a Christian.

To answer your question on what a Christian should DO to be saved? The answer is, we cannot DO anything to be saved. We do not work for salvation, if we try we will always fall short because we are sinners. Thru God's grace and God's grace only can one be saved. God asks for love, obedience to His commandments and His word, the Bible, and faith. By sending His son Jesus Christ to die for us, He paid it all for us I'm order to have salvation. The whole point in informing people about the National Sunday Law is to keep people from following what man will set up as the official day of rest as opposed to what day God calls the day of rest. And its important people know what day of the week that is because the fourth commandment about the Sabbath is the very commandment that identifies God as the creator. When man superimposes his own Sabbath day law, making it Sunday, it will force people to choose between man's law or God's law.

EvangelistEvan ......the answer you seek is the following: we do teach about salvation by grace through faith but we have to also outline the fact that humans Can NOT change what the bible says about salvation. it is clearly stated that blessings will fall on both the righteous and non righteous. so in the case of someone who goes to church on sunday, its our duty to enlighten them about the seventh-day of worship as its clearly stated in the bible. also sunday is a day that has been for told by prophesy that it will be the day of the beast but doesn't necessarily mean who ever worships on sunday wont be saved. salvation is an individual task and we are only here as a mirror for people to reflect their lives upon.

I am an exsda. Not long ago I talked to the General Conference of the sda I ask them could I be a sda if I did not believe in the 1844 IJ thing. They replied, to be a sda you have to except all 28 beliefs of the church. Since they teach there the only true church & if one rejects there teaching they will be lost. So salvation is not believing in Christ only, but belief in the sda church as ones saving grace. So salvation is to hold to 1844 thin, man talk about a shut door!

I was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Cult for 12 years. But the more Ellen G White books I read and the more SDA Pastor sermons I heard and the more I spoke to SDA members and the EGW Estate, I came to realise that they teach and believe a false gospel based on works and obedience, and they have rejected grace: Galatians 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Seventh-day Adventist members will usually tell you that they do not believe their Sabbath works will save them, but they always come undone when you ask them certain questions, e.g. "Will you still be saved by faith and grace alone if you stop attending Church Service on Sabbath?", and "What did EGW teach will happen to Sunday keeping Christians? Can they be saved by faith and grace alone and still avoid the coming "Sunday Laws" Mark of the Beast? Adventists do not like those kind of questions because their answers expose their legalism and their trust in the 10 Commandments and Sabbath Commandment to save them. This is a plea to all the sincere Adventists to come out of Babylon (Legalism). El Sabado, the Sabbath, is Saturday. Even though Jesus rose from the dead and defeated Satan, Emperor Constantine had no business changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Jesus rising on Sunday didn't give us a reason to change God's word. It just reaffirms that Jesus slept through the Sabbath and did a great work (His resurrection and victory over sin) on Sunday, the first day of the week. Pray for our world and its leaders. I feel a shaking, I feel a beating in the spirit, I'm so glad I am learning to read and understand the bible for myself, I know the Law cannot save me, but through Christ I can do all things, I keep the sabbath because I am saved and I love God, and I want to obey the commandments and follow Jesus and do the will of God. I don't know EGW, But I know Jesus Christ and God Almighty and that's all I need! There is no perfect man or woman, and so I don't put my faith and trust in them because they need Jesus just like I do, we are all in the same boat. Read Romans 14 - the spiritual man thinks of any day as equal. In Christ Jesus we enter eternity while still living here on Earth and we enter His perpetual rest. Cast aside your idols including literal holy day from sunset to sunset and false prophet White and follow Jesus who said: come to me... and I'll give you REST (or sabbath). We enter his rest through faith (Hebrews 4) and rest in him on a 24/7 basis, not one day in a week. We worship Him in spirit and truth, not in flesh or letters written on the dead stone.

I feel I should state right now that I am a Baptised SDA church member, that I believe The Bible is The Inspired Word of Our Living God, and that The SDA DO NOT worship Ellen Whyte? While she wrote in the region of Five Million words of inspired Bible Commentary, The SDA believes and Preaches The Holy Bible, NOT what Ellen Whyte wrote, and when she is mentioned, it is to reinforce/compliment the Word of God? Perhaps if the people who make such comments about Ellen Whyte should take the time to explore what the SDA really believe and teach before passing comment?

I was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Cult for 12 years. But the more Ellen G White books I read and the more SDA Pastor sermons I heard and the more I spoke to SDA members and the EGW Estate, I came to realise that they teach and believe a false gospel based on works and obedience, and they have rejected grace:
Galatians 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
Seventh-day Adventist members will usually tell you that they do not believe their Sabbath works will save them, but they always come undone when you ask them certain questions, e.g. "Will you still be saved by faith and grace alone if you stop attending Church Service on Sabbath?", and "What did EGW teach will happen to Sunday keeping Christians? Can they be saved by faith and grace alone and still avoid the coming "Sunday Laws" Mark of the Beast?
Adventists do not like those kind of questions because their answers expose their legalism and their trust in the 10 Commandments and Sabbath Commandment to save them.
This is a plea to all the sincere Adventists to come out of Babylon (Legalism).
I am still a Sabbath keeping Christian and I love the 10 Commandments and God's Law and love obeying God, but unlike Seventh-day Adventist members, I no longer trust in the Sabbath to save me. Since I resigned my Seventh-day Adventist Cult membership, I now completely trust in Jesus to save me and I am saved by faith and grace alone and justified by faith in Christ, not by my works. I now believe in justification by faith ALONE, unlike SDA CULT members, who believe in justification through obedience and the Sabbath to help them avoid the "Sunday Laws" Mark of the Beast.

God Bless the SDA church and America well what is left of America. The Seventh Day Adeventist will never keep Sunday. For those of the faith that keep sunday are no longer Seventh Day Adventist. God has sheeps in many folds. The Seventh Day Church as a Church is not the Church of God. The People of that church and the Principles that they stand for are Church of God. God says worship on Sabbath and that is what I as a SDA plan to do. For this war we fight is not against flesh and blood but the Prinicalities of evil. So therefore the Church and Conference are not Gods Church but the people and the Priniciples FROM the word of God that we uphold.
And sorry to say the only dang reason US Government is addressing the church is to decieve SDAs into fallingi nto the one world religion. For it is written in Revelation "He (the anti-christ (which is a principle not a person (but more specifically speaking of Satan)) shall decieve the whole world even the very elect if possible" Now that mean that even Gods true church would be deceived if it were possible but we know that by the death AND resurrection of Christ that it is possible for us to NOT be deceived. Speak out against the things Hilary does that you believe are against the Bible, but don't do it unless you can do it in love, and make sure you don't give Trump a pass either, he has done at least as much against the Bible as Hilary. I at least commend Hilary for speaking up in favor of religious freedom. The candidate with the best record for supporting individual freedoms, though, is Gary Johnson.

@FatTonyAU i am an adventist...God's people are in every church denominations. but there will come a time when we will have to choose between God and man. and thats when God's people in all the denominations will come out and join God's remnant church, aswell as the non converted sda(those will be leaving God's remnant) that is the truth. and that is what we teach. if others say different, they are either confused or still have alot of learning to do on the SDA/Bible doctrine
This is the key to it all.... When I was an SDA CULT member, I was asking hundreds and hundreds of SDA CULT members I met during my time as an SDA CULT member, and my time preaching in the SDA CULT, one question:
Are you sure you are going to heaven?
Their answers would prove to me that there is a general consensus and culture within the SDA CULT to believe that salvation is based on HUMAN EFFORT and the LAW, because 99% of SDA CULT members I would ask that question, would shrug their shoulders, tell me they aren't ready yet and working on it, and make it clear to me that they believe they are not saved "yet" until they can become better and stop sinning, because 99% of SDA CULT members do not believe a SINNER who continues to break the Law and 10 Commandments of God that they can be saved RIGHT NOW and TODAY!
If SDA CULT members were to renounce and burn all Ellen's 130 books, and only start reading the 66 books of Bible, then they would realise and understand that a SINNER can be saved RIGHT NOW and TODAY!
But as I said, questions like these makes it clear how much influence EGW rubbish books have made to the SDA CULT, because their answer to questions such as the following exposes their trust in Ellen and her filthy gospel:
