I guess still the roots would be a problem, specially the girlies with wavy freezy or cripsy hair. The root remain 'unprocessed', unless you first straighten your hair with a flat iron or other tool.

I have long hair, saving it for Locks of Love, so the ends are getting "older", and I want the lift and curl higher up the hair. So, I feel low won't do it for the length and high is too harsh for the ends. Egad! Do I have to two temps on each strand? Suggestions, please. Your pal, Diana/Chicago. Oh yes, and I have natural silver hair (I'm 73) it is fine, soft and lots of it. Bye bye, for now dlc
+Diana L. Clausen Hey Diana! What you can do is leave the ends out. Use high for from the crown to almost three quarters down. When you release the curl you can just twist the ends around the barrel yourself real quick and that will give it a little bounce. Hope this helps :)
