    God hear my prayers. Having two sons with special needs is overwhelming at times because they require so much from me. As a single mother things are difficult. I keep faith in you Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent, and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. Every month is a battle. But God gives me strength as has been by my side. Faith is my strength.💕

    I was just reading about how people are using life insurance as an investment tool. And it’s crazy-if you set things up the right way, you can pass down wealth without a huge tax hit. There are definitely some strategies out there that most people don’t even know about

    • @roseyfischer
      @roseyfischer 3 місяці тому +2

      Exactly, and it’s stuff that goes way beyond just saving a bit here and there. But honestly, it’s hard to know where to start. Like, how do you know what actually works for your situation and doesn’t end up costing more than it’s worth?

    • @Kseniaramesh
      @Kseniaramesh 3 місяці тому +1

      I get it. I’ve been there too, and that’s why I started talking to a financial planner. Someone like Nora Jean Erickson can actually walk you through these steps. She’s a Certified Financial Planner who understands things like tax-saving strategies and investment options that aren’t just for the ultra-wealthy

    • @Theodore-tu5zg
      @Theodore-tu5zg 3 місяці тому +1

      Oh, I’ve heard about her. She’s the one who offers a free consultation, right? Honestly, that could be a good first step-just to figure out what I’m even eligible for and see if there are any strategies I hadn’t thought about.

    • @Colbe-lx7fb
      @Colbe-lx7fb 3 місяці тому

      Yes, that’s her. She’s great at breaking down complex strategies, so you’re not feeling overwhelmed. She can help you see where you might qualify for tax deductions and guide you on things like starting investment accounts for your kids. It’s a way to build up those funds gradually but effectively

    • @Churchillhump2268
      @Churchillhump2268 3 місяці тому

      That’s what I’d like-just some solid steps I can actually start working on. Plus, with everything being so uncertain, it’d be nice to know I’m doing what I can to secure a future for my kids without risking too much.

    I retired at age 53 and am now in my early 60s. Many people resisted me because they couldn't understand the idea of not working if you don't have to. I considered my life to be in phases. I worked very hard to achieve what I have now, but in my last years, I owe it to myself to "stop and smell the roses." After I retired, I left the nation and now reside in Latin America. I was able to enjoy my new surroundings and escape from all the bad things that were going on in America. I haven't yet encountered anyone who laments their retirement.

    • @AndreasHofmann46
      @AndreasHofmann46 3 місяці тому

      Nice way to retire. For me, I believe retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My wife and I both spent same number of years in the civil service, she invested through a wealth manager and myself through the 401k. We both still earning after our retirement fund has grown way more than it would have with just the 401(k). Haha.

      It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than a million dollars by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.

      I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.
