That's my great grandma favorite song and her testimony.she was born June 1880 and Jesus took her home December 1980.❤🎉 my great day will be when Jesus Christ brings me home to the Lord God for my rest and heavenly reunion with the ancestors whom also chose Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior 💓🙏 amen.may God bless your journey, much love from Jacksonville Florida 😊
In April 1969, their single "Get Back" was credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston", the only time such a joint credit had been given on an official Beatles-sanctioned release (as distinct from an unsanctioned reissue of some Hamburg-era recordings on which they were the backing group for Tony Sheridan). The credit was bestowed by the Beatles to reflect the extent of Preston's presence on the track; his electric piano is prominent throughout and he plays an extended solo.
James Cleveland looks like Booker T daddy. If not for the allegations they would be appreciating and speaking about all of his wonderful work in gospel music.
I'm guessing in 1964 Leslie speakers were too expensive? Otherwise, why in the world there was not a Leslie speaker attached to that organ. Billy Preston was ahead of time with his playing and would have sounded boss had there been a Leslie attached.
I don’t know why. They were definitely in the recording studios. Also, Rev. Lawrence Robert’s church, First Baptist Church of Nutley, NJ definitely had Leslie speakers too. I think it was a mishap on Jubilee Showcases part. My 2 cents. 🙂
Now that is Gospel Music

I love Odessa McCastle’s singing!! Is she still living?
Sadly, she passed away.
That classy lady could sure SHANG!!!!
Which one she?
Odessa to the lady on the left with light hair on the left on the front row. She was a fine sister! She was always impeccably dressed too.
Who are the singers?
I can only name 2 Odessa McCastle (bottom left) and Rodger Roberts (top right) he was one of the greatest male sopranos
Yes Roger was! I also love Odessa too. Are any of them living now?
@@ZhairMillerGospelArchive The other lady is Ethel Halloway
@@imjustlooking888 All are deceased.
Okay. I’ll see them again.
