I’ll literally just main every character you make a beginner guide for. The intros you make hype up the character big time. Kazuya is THE Tekken? You know what? Yeah he is. I’ve always wanted to play Kazuya but always held off because people keep telling me he’s real damn hard, but this guide really gives a clear view of the general game plan.

This is literally the greatest kazuya guide on UA-cam. Tekken 8 is my first fg and I decided I just can’t help but maining kazuya. I spent time in the lab to learn how to mishima (wave dash, electric, step electric, etc) but now I feel stuck on how to play Tekken. With kazuya, I feel like there are only 3-4 strings I can use and if I am fighting a skilled opponent, I just get blown up on block. You breaking down his key strings and moves, conditions to apply them, and mixups of completing flash punch or not just made a lot of things click for me. Thank you so much.

Your video explains everything on why us Kazuya mains love him despite his difficulty because he isnt just any normal character in tekken, instead he IS tekken. Im honestly grateful that kazuya was my first main because i legit believe hes the only character who actually teaches you how to play tekken. While i feel other characters have mechanics that prevent the player from understanding fundamentals and actually learning their character. Thats why i love kazuya because he forces you to understand the game.
Well said. Players that add another character to pilot after learning Kazuya tend to be ahead of others because they apply the fundamentals first, then move on to whatever makes the character special. Kazuya can be strong, but forces the player to become strong to unlock it. That's pretty cool. Thanks for checking out the video.

Kazuya my main on 8, ive wanted to master him since Tekken 2 but everyone said he was the hardest to learn so i never played with him till now. This guide is exactly what I needed! I had played Kazuya for about 20h but I still saw some moves for the first time in this video lol Also there's a small mistake at 39:31, it shows 2 instead of 1. Not a big deal at all but it had me confused for half a second

There's another weird combo with Kazuya: ewgf/pewgf, rising sun (first u/f+4), d/f+1 or d/f+1, d/f+3,2,1+2, and then whatever you want to do. I continue with heat activation, and then f,n,d/f+4,1, f,n,d/f+(1+2). The only problem is that restarts the combo counter, but still makes decent damage
Just a quick correction - when you discuss wavedashing, you put the input as f n df OR f n d df f. Kazuya's Mist Step (f n df) can NOT be linked as a wavedash, it's only used to access crouch dash moves faster. If you want to actually wavedash for movement, as opposed to just use a crouch dash move, it HAS to be with the full f n d df f motion. You also refer a lot to electrics as "perfect", though I think you just mean to refer to them as electrics (a better term than "perfect" here would be "just frame), since for Kazuya the "perfect electric" is the 13f EWGF that is *extremely* hard to do consistently. I know "perfect" is easier for new players to get than "just frame", but it might lead to some confusion and frustration when looking for further info since they'd likely come across some intimidating info about how hard the actual "perfect" electric is compared to the regular EWGF.
I'm a jin main (pretty decent jin) But wanted to transition to Kaz & this guide helped me alot, practising alot now. Beat up a flame ruler kaz, but i assume that is because im decent with my fundementals xD

I used this guide for one day. ONE and it's leveled up my Kazuya game LEAPS AND BOUNDS and has showed me that Mr. TEKKEN is the real fucking deal

There's another weird combo with Kazuya: ewgf/pewgf, rising sun (first u/f+4), d/f+1 or d/f+1, d/f+3,2,1+2, and then whatever you want to do. I continue with heat activation, and then f,n,d/f+4,1, f,n,d/f+(1+2).
The only problem is that restarts the combo counter, but still makes decent damage

Just a quick correction - when you discuss wavedashing, you put the input as f n df OR f n d df f. Kazuya's Mist Step (f n df) can NOT be linked as a wavedash, it's only used to access crouch dash moves faster. If you want to actually wavedash for movement, as opposed to just use a crouch dash move, it HAS to be with the full f n d df f motion.
You also refer a lot to electrics as "perfect", though I think you just mean to refer to them as electrics (a better term than "perfect" here would be "just frame), since for Kazuya the "perfect electric" is the 13f EWGF that is *extremely* hard to do consistently. I know "perfect" is easier for new players to get than "just frame", but it might lead to some confusion and frustration when looking for further info since they'd likely come across some intimidating info about how hard the actual "perfect" electric is compared to the regular EWGF.

I'm a jin main (pretty decent jin) But wanted to transition to Kaz & this guide helped me alot, practising alot now. Beat up a flame ruler kaz, but i assume that is because im decent with my fundementals xD
