Interesting seeing what happened when Henry was caught in the snowfall, I don’t think anyone’s touched on it before. Imagine Thomas (in a lesser amount of time though) going through something like this too when buried delivering the Christmas Tree, or Percy in Snow and/or Jack Frost.
Great job! Probably one of the most unique "scary" thomas story i've seen in a while. A plot revolving around losing yourself in the snow is really intriguing.
Happy Halloween Narrow Guage! This might be the reason why Henry acts like a wuss in winter episodes like "Ho ho snowman" and "The beast of Sodor" or in my theory its after his Flying Kipper crash he acts more cautious when working in snowy weather.
This would make for a very intriguing, visually dependent, scary Thomas story to tell. After seeing his take on Old Haunts, I would love to see TheRailwayDepot try a stab at this.
I think this is a personal favorite of mine, your exploration into Henry was so well done and something which I could feel personally. I was silent throughout the listen, you’ve done something with this one!
Am I glad he's frozen in there, and that we're out here, and that he's the sheriff, and that we're frozen out here, and that we're in there, and I just remembered we're out here. What I want to know is, where's Henry?
Yes, now I know how Henry got stuck in the snow, as I recall, in Snow Tracks, Henry said, “I don’t like snow, you could get stuck in it!” That was until he worked well with Charlie who promised not to scare him about snow jokes, get it, snow jokes, 😂, but then again, that’s a well known fact
My theory about Henry being a hypochondriac in episodes like "Ho ho snowman" and "The beast of Sodor" is that ever since his Flying Kipper crash he acts more cautious when working in snowy weather.
First up, I agree with you on that, and who knows what the future will bring, but I have a good feeling about all of these new ideas for the railways on Sodor
What a chilling story. A different kind of chill here. It feels and sounds like Henry is having a kind of experienced here. An interesting story you made here. Well done on this. I hope you have a warm and happy Halloween on your end.
This is the prequel to the Deputation I didn’t know I needed until now.

I wish we had more of this type of horror in the fandom, where canon scenes are twisted to something that feels like it could've happened

I think in this Henry experienced his death due to hypothermia and could’ve passed on if Donald and Douglas haven’t came in time.
Amazing adaptation of this classic episode! Love the music alteration at the end, fantastic all round!!

Great seeing Donald and Douglas!
5:44 this does explain how Henry ended up trapped in the Deputation 🎄 story. ❄️ 🎅 🧑🎄 🍪
Good Work On The Halloween Video And Happy Halloween.

I miss horror of the rails
I’ll be looking forward on seeing this for Halloween 👻
Horror of the Rails really got me into your channel. But this is a nice substitute if this is what you seek to do 😊
Marvelous Work! Happy Halloween!!
This is gonna be good
Henry was put in a frozen coma
thats a dish served cold! o_o
Here we go!
I thought Henry froze to death for a second 😭
But great story! Very interesting :)
I would thought of that too but knowing it’s the start of the deputation he would be free. Pretty good for a stand alone story.
Amazing as usual
Here when it started
Not quite what I was expecting, but it was certainly enjoyable
Hello Henry
its not even 7:30 I got breakfast on my mind
This ought to be good!
Series 2(1986)
Narrated by: George Carlin
1959(1922-1935)
hey can i remake this with this audio?
You gotta get your stories adapted.
Would you allow it if I were to adapt this story?
Yes, you can.
@narrowgauge9717 Thank you!!!
i don't get it
Nearly three minutes into the story and I already deduced that it takes place before The Deputation episode.
Nice.... Happy Halloween.🚂🚃🚃🎃🎃🚃🚃
