Goalkeeper Training - Crosses and 2nd Balls | Pro Gk

- Today's session was all about crosses and 2nd balls.
I started with announced services early in the session - to activate their punching technique and see how efficient they could be with their punches. (For me, announced service is crucial to get reps at mastering certain techniques). Once we activated their timing and punching, I wanted to get them live services with real runners and real consequences for punches that didn't clear the 18.
Hope you enjoy it!
Any and all feedback would be great!
- Omar

Excellent. Good to hear the detail also within and how you are working with the GK's. Thanks for sharing!
Omar this is a TOP session! Awesome attention to detail and great representative session design! Completely different level now even compared to just a year or two ago! Bravo!
Great to see this content again Omar!

nice video. I will try to train my kid to catch those kind of balls in the gk area. It ia hard to teach him but i hope he will learn
Well done coach
Awesome coaching.
Good shooting
Super
Great vid!!! What team are you coaching?
10:59 I'd be calling away too if there was a borderline catch-able, pacy, curling ball flying to the back stick with an opposition player lying down right behind me lol.
Has the difference in the two keepers starting position been addressed? The keeper with red gloves is starting too close to his line, resulting in different decisions to the other keeper. Worth noting?
Do you have any tips for lowballs
