DUDE. DUDE. Dude. dude. I've done live streams on 2 of these. Cardboard slayer sessions to test out the edge retention. The first one took SEVEN HOURS to kill the edge and I had to go HARD the last hour to finally roach it out. The second one took 6 hours and I couldn't physically go any more. It still had some edge left, though. These things are better than people realize. Just be aware of the known QC issues and be ready to exchange it if the centering is bad or if an uneven grind makes it look warped.
Also, I hope the hype on this thing brings you a bunch of new subs, you got your video in at a good time.
I bought one and liked it so much I went back and bought the last 2 they had… great video !
picked up 2 of these mid week. EDC and light duty cutting tasks for $10... I have no complaints.
I got one. They're very nice for a $10 knife. With a little pivot adjustment and oil it feels like a $30 or $40 knife. The blade stock is a bit narrow, but wide enough. The D2 is very strong and takes/holds a really nice edge. The action is incredible, with perfect centering, and reliable, solid lock-up. The orange color was ugly (to me) but the polypropylene scales will readily take Rit Dye-More synthetic dye without the use of solvents. I used a hot dye bath of just Rit Dye-More Charcoal and a little dishsoap, and it came out jet-black after abput 10-15 minutes. Looks like it was made with black plastic.
The only real problem with it is that it came with some of the scews threadlocked in place, so taking it apart for repair/maintenance would've been a problem. I couldn't let that rest though, so with some work and some carefully applied acetone, I was able to get all the screws out and back in without destroying anything, but I really wouldn't recommend trying it unless you have to. All that really is to say: Beware, if (when) an omega spring breaks you may have a real hard time fixing it, other than that, it's a great little knife.
@@flatasacueball6326 thread lock and T6! I striped a driver bit just thinking about it lol. Ya I hope they come out with some other colors and blade shapes. I have a feeling they are about to come out with some interesting stuff now that Civivi is coming to Walmart
@@VegasDad702 The synthetic dye worked really well. With it being orange, I'm not sure how colors would look on it, but red would probably look good, and black works great.

I just got 5 here in Texas! Loving it
I purchased one on Wednesday August 21st and I loved it so much I purchased a second one on Saturday August 24th. It definitely will be the best budget knife of 2024 without a doubt.
Just grabbed the last 3 at Walmart in myrtle beach. For 10 bucks I won't be made when leave in woods gutting a deer
I just got mine, too. It's awesome. Mine came with two different shades of orange on the scales, but other than that it's perfect. Even has a centered blade.
@@franticflintstone7999 I am impressed with what this $10 knife had to offer. Sucks about the scales. I was wondering if they would fade in the sun.
@franticflintstone7999 I noticed this in the store. They had only 2 left, and one of them had 2 different shades of orange.
@@flatasacueball6326 It doesn't bother me much, but it's probably best for people to buy it in the store if they can.
I'm happy to see you got one. Very interesting knife for the price. Awesome video sir!
Appreciate you watching! I am interested in the longevity but a very cool knife for sure.
Very interesting
I just picked one up myself. I was impressed with the sharpness. It feels a little light to me, but for $10, it’s a great knife. I’m about to order four more to use as stocking stuffers this Christmas.
What a great idea! These would make great stocking stuffers.
Great video man! I’m ready to go buy 10 of these things haha
They are great for what it’s worth aren’t they?
