    Very thorough explanation, so it was always easy to follow along

    5^x+5^2x=5^3x
    5^x(1+5^x)=5^x(5^2x)
    (5^x)²-5^x-1=0
    5^x=(sqrt5+1)/2
    x=log((sqrt5+1)/2)/log5
    x≈0.299

      Clean way, but too bad you didn't explain well 😊
      I mean you should have introduced a variable at least and thrown in some comments... otherwise onlybthose who know this stuff already would be able to follow

    Hey author, WHY did you have to overcomplicate things by doing that nonsensical division ?
    Why didn'y introduce variable y=5× right away ?!
    Dividing entire equation by expression containing x (125× in your case) can result in losing 1 of possible roots

    The way you write the x hurts my eyes

    Come on! This one is easy, why 13 mins ?
    let t=5×
    t+t² = t³
    t³-t²-t = 0
    t(t²-t-1) = 0
    t1 = 0, 5× = 0 - nonsensical as there is no such x that would make 5× = 0, rejecting
    so now it's a matter of solving this innocently looking quadratic equation:
    t²-t-1 = 0
    I can tell the roots are going to be irrational, maybe even imaginary - so I can't be bothered doing the tedious bit 😂
