- Welcome to my Rome street food vlog! Follow along for 24hrs of tasting traditional carbonara, cheap street food style pizza and finish off with some Gelato!
Places mentioned in the video:
Tempo Di Minerva - Carbonara
Alice's Pizza - a street food style vendor with multiple locations across the city they sell you per slice and its a very affordable meal/snack for on the go while sight seeing!
Fiocco di neve - Gelato! Definitely try the pistachio while visiting Italy it's a local favourite
Other Place I highly recommend that had a fantastic carbonara (best I've EVER had) and very good ravioli was called Massimo's Al 39 Restaurant

Tdo muito maravilhoso😍

Where did u stay in Rome. Looking for recommendations for hotels going in October
I stayed at a hostel called Yellow Square which was good and easily accessible to the city via the metro or a 30min walk into the city centre. Depending on your budget I'd recommend either the Hive hotel, Hotel Adriano or Mercure Roma Centro for something a little more mid range if you want to be closer to in town :)

@@lilybuds7993 There are plenty more coming!!
Awesome to hear !!
Alice's Pizza - do server cold or hot pizza? thx
Either! they can heat it up and cook it so it’s hot and fresh for you if you like 😊
It is not Parmigiano, it's Pecorino Romano
Thats good to know that pecorino is traditionally used for carbonara thanks!! 😊
Please show the food more.
will do for future videos thanks for the feedback 😊
The cheese in Carbonara is Pecorino Romano, not the Parmigiano - Reggiano. Greetings from Florence
oh wonderful that’s very good to know thanks Luigi!
@@gtravels-foodadventures5035 You're welcome
@@gtravels-foodadventures5035 I would like to send you some pdf files to improve your Italian, do you have a secondary email?
For sure Florence requires a lot more research to appreciate what the city offers in terms of history and culture, whereas the attractions in Rome are recognized by pretty much everyone around the world.
absolutely! culturally and historically Florence is very rich. I think I just have very high expectations of Florence and much lower expectations of Rome for some reason and therefore was pleasantly surprised
by Rome!
