Even in my case also its exactly 2.5years whereas the duplicate keys battery too drained out in exact same period which was never used so it means once fitted life is 2.5 years whether you use it or not.

@@gauravkohli7223 Exactly - it's not detected by the actual strength of the battery. It's some kind of timer set at around 2 years and 7-8 months. Our family member's car got it 2.5 years later, and we bought a car about 3-4 weeks after them, and we got the same low battery indicator 3-4 weeks after them (so 2.5 years for us too!)
