Man it was rad af seeing u dominate tho fam much respect to Ole red and to u my inspiration miata dad aka Craig lol and broke and boosted is what got me started fam ... much respect brotha peace and love all keep it rad stay safe and build on
Pro Tip - Regarding your hose clamps which secure your shock reservoirs... Use heat shrink tubing on the clamp's band to reduce scratching or damage to the reservoir body. The rubber of the heat shrink also provides additional grip. We've done this on sprint cars for not only the grip but better aesthetics.
Love the content, so excited to see miata dad greg here and pulling a win....love his build and how the guys treated him. good stuff! cant wait to see the viper vs the supra soon!
In Europe you can buy enclosed cv axle developed in use of lotus elans that used to have the metal rubber doughnut cush drives. Watch Mike Brewers Lotus Elan resto with the too tall edd
Should get in touch with a good machine shop that would be able to replicate those parts and maybe beef them up with a stonger material and forge Ik it sound expensive and will take some R and D but it would be beneficial as these parts start to get rarer and rarer
There was a slight squeak that i heard after the burnout, the moment when Rickie (who i'm guessing was driving) started to reverse. Idk if that was the beginning to the end or if that was just a random noise
Im gonna say the whole spindle rotated enough during the launch. Causing the lower control arm to twist, snapping the shock. During all that the u-joint fatigued and ended in axle damage.. just my thoughts.. 🤣 wrench on, rock on 🤘🏼
3 miles to spool.... sounds about right. Hahaha, good stuff guys, humble as always. Good on Quinn for fixing up the BattleSnake ™️... that's good, should use that. Trademarked!!!!
Throtl VIP squad good morning Quinn, Mickey Rickie Evan, Rick , victor will Nate Shawn Tim, big Jeff and the rest of throtl team awesome. Taking some cars to the track.😊👍🏼🤙🏽
I think of you guys as building the best show/street cars. Mostly bolt ons, engine rebuilds and body kits. If you want performance then Cletus is best. Your builds never seem to do well at the strip or track. You need a new staff member if you actually go fast. The cars look amazing and drivers are so enth but never seem to be set up right for performance. You are the definition of 'all the gear, no idea'.
@5:32 yes you can TIG weld cast aluminum. You have to do a lot of cleaning to ensure it will weld up properly but it is not a difficult job and it will be strong. @8:32 Well technically yes you can weld back the Cast Iron with Arc welding rods... will it be as strong NO lol, Would I trust it on that car, NO lol. But it would weld back if Pre-heated properly and prepped right.
Do you have access to wiring Harnessses? Rotary 88 10th anniversary RX-7 I've had 25years put in a fueltech FT-450 and having ALOT of trouble 3:54 ANY SUGGESTIONS @throttle 4:22
I am lucky enough to have a paid off 2012 explorer, but it is getting a bit bland for my taste. Does anyone have any recs for easy but impactful mods to throw on the explorer to liven things up a little bit?
Back to the track???? With that power you better change supplier… otherwise those shocks are just 2 months consumables in the drag strip. Havent solved the real issue.
Thank you guys so much for having me out! I'm gonna need to develop my setup a lot if I want to hang with the Supra at full steam 🤣

Sooo exciting to see you here miata dad!
Lil speed demon

At 12:10 is the caliper supposed to rotate like that when you were torquing the hub? Seems like something is still broken
Something is definitely wrong there. The caliper should not move like that 😳

I’m thinking the axel part that connects to the hub is the one that failed, is worth upgrading the bolts to ARP’s.

You can see the whole spindle rotate at the 12:00 mark when he torques it
@@evanwinblad8733 you can see the stress cracks all over the control arms
I'm from Philippines I watch your every video your posted. I love the way costum the car more blessing godblesa
Should have had the assembly for the viper part where the shock sits scanned for future 3D printing or made billet.
anybody notice the whole caliper rotate when he torqued up the axle nut?
Hahaha yep was looking for the comments about it.
What's happening with the prowler mad keen to see what you guys do to it
LOVE THE CONTENT KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK THROTL
Trtle what if a dominic Toretto inspired car next? That would be sick

Yeah...I'm wondering why those shocks are $7k if they can't handle 1000hp. You should have amazing race shocks for that kinda money.
For drag racing your most likely going to want a solid rear axle and not independent rear axle setup
"Angelic Beats" by Nylonia. Nice touch guys. 🎸🎸🔊🔊
Came here for @TheCarPassionChannel 🔥
Ivory soap, pat dry with everyday napkins from vons grocery store. Nothing but love.👍🏽
Great run by both cars
Especially for high horsepower and high torque cars

Watching from philippines 🇵🇭 😊
Solid axle swap?
what a suprise another car down. Is there any car that you build that doesnt break?
You guys should really do like a super clean everyday driver CRX. Do something that no one really does anymore.
Did you say those shocks were $7k? 😮 could you upgrade the axels?
Too much torque, Rickkyyyy why did you break my favorite car again 😊
Viking shocks for the win

Hi, I have a 94 gl excel that’s run down, I need to get parts but I don’t know what to get, what are things older cars need to work properly again???

Still waiting on more uploads on the Prowler.

Did you guys forgot about the TRADING UP TO A FERRARI
Any updates on the nissan?
10k can get you a really nice straight axle rear end.
No fast and furious sema build this year? 😔
And if you know CTS V’s, 1st gen diffs are glass. Lol
The prep wasn't there lol
man, i would machine a billet shock lower..
If you ain't 1st you're last !!!!
Supra needs a driver mod
Man that fiat when 0-60 in eventually
Beuhhhhh cakepp
Isn't this going to do the same exact thing putting the same parts in ?
6 days no upload is mad
Tj literally uploaded this video close to a month ago
The transition to the drag racing was awkward! Should have done an introduction from one of the throtl team.
Wowww i like that
Back to the track???? With that power you better change supplier… otherwise those shocks are just 2 months consumables in the drag strip. Havent solved the real issue.
That caliper looked loose.
Is the plymouth going to get the justice it deserves or are yall just going to keep milking the viper
