That’s what flotation tires do best, allow you to keep going in wet areas, back in the day running an old row crop tractor pulling a chopper and a wagon would have never made it through. Equipment has come a long way.
I love the music that played while the bin was being filled and packed. We sing that a church. It is so good to really know who we can lean on no matter what is going on in our lives.
It's amazing with all the pressure of compacting the silo walls don't buckle under pressure. You guys were very fortunate for such a great harvest this year. Love watching your channel
When storing solids, it's a bit counter intuitive. Typically, in solids storage, pressures are exerted more on the base than the walls. Liquids on the other hand, exert equal pressure on the walls and base of a storage container. That's why you typically see tall and narrow silos and short and wide liquid tanks.
Theyve got tons i mean literal tonnes of steel in the as well as different chemicals to help cure the crete stronger! I work for Coldstream Concrete Ltd, we do some pretty big walls and stuff, not neccisarilly farm stuff other than Tile in Concrete
always amazes me how little people know of the food chain and where things come from, but I grew up around Ag and still stick a toe in it. Thanks and God Bless the American Farmers and Ranchers
LOVE that version of LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS ! It looks as soothing as the music but I know it was a lot of work ! Great to have that much behind you ! God Bless !
Eric looks like 2021 corn silage is just about done with for the year now and I'm willing to bet that you'll be proud to have it done with too have a great day now
Leaning On The Everlasting Arms... some powerful words, some strong memories! Great song. Thank you. You know, I wrote my comment before I read any other comments... sure makes my heart feel good seeing the large number of people who know what that song is, and what it means. Thank you friends, sometimes you just don't know how a simple comment can lift someone who's had a rough week or who's been taking some licks and needs to know there ARE others out there who know and understand. No, it's not dusty and it's not allergies - those are tears of thankfulness for a God who loves us no matter what. So thank you for that reminder. Amen.
I enjoy your music choices. Another channel I follow, Tin Barn Farm, plays good ol’ cowboy music. The right tunes can really add to the video. Eric, you are one of my favorite you tubers. Kudos for the fantastic drone shots today.
Thank you for this video. We must keep present in mind the hard work it takes to keep us all well fed. You are deserving of more recognition and respect.
I never realized until I started watching you on UA-cam how much work it takes to have a gallon of milk in my refrigerator..... Thank you very much for your hard work!
Looking thru comments realize how few people realize how a cow's digestive track works, or how strip tillage works. Were those drone shots or from the top of the silo?
Hi Eric, I unsubscribed from so many channels who swear, use the Lord's name invain, etc. Their was something special about you when I came across your channel last week. The fact that you acknowledge that you are a Christian, your dry sense of humor, your soda finds, your work ethic and so many other things I enjoyed by watching all your videos. Yes, I did watch all of them and could not stop. From the first video till the last one I could see how GOD blessed you and your family. Love it and keep up the good work. GOD BLESS
The drone shots were spectacular Eric and the music for the done montage. It is pretty cool to see em chopping in mud but with those wide tires it's like cutting a cake. Bit check out silage harvest in england that sum crazy stuff. Keep up the good work
The amount of land you all have is insane. The drone shot of all the land with how much corn you still have left to chop. How much of the bunker will the rest of the corn fill. Completely? Not enough? Too much?
Thanks for the video's Eric! I live in a small village in The Netherlands and I am fortunate to be surrounded by alot of farms. I find it really facinating and love how you take the time to not only show, but also explain why you do, what you do! When i can, i join one of the neighbours in the tractor and ask ALOT of questions xD You called a crob "Alfalfa", we have that in the land near our property, but here we call it Luzerne. I was wondering what the difference was, but it turns out Luzerne is the plant and Alfafa seems to be the seed :) Anyway, i always enjoy your video's, Keep it up!
Love the drone shots, it shows layout of farm, awesome shots working on silage bunker all the crew throwing out tires. That was a beautiful song lifting your hands up to heaven and resting on the arms of Jesus. Amen!!
I was heading to State College PA today and passed a number of dairy farms. I identified a number of machines because of your videos. Manure spreader, feed mixer and cows!
Whenever that violin music started up, I half expected Shelby Foote to start talking about the Battle of Manassas or someone to start reading a letter from Mary Chestnut about the hardships on the home front.
I am surprised how many people got what the song was. Reminds me of my Aunt and Cousin playing at a restaurant on Sundays after church. They played just like that song. Thanks for the good memory.
The drone footage was awesome Eric. Your farm and surrounding land is a beautiful part of our country. With the background music included, it was excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
“Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”, Everyday
There's never a breath of wind until the fabric gets rolled out
I must say that drone footage was my favourite part!
Leaning on the everlasting arms. Right on.
Had me singing along! Love it
@Nobody .12 wet
The drone shots are absolutely beautiful.
That violin music just soothed my soul….love those old hymns!
I loved hearing the hymn, "Leaning on the everlasting arms" - Amen!
The music playing during drone footage?
What else is there to lean on? :) God bless..
There’s nothing quite so satisfying as an abundant harvest, no work quite as deeply rewarding. Your herd is well set for winter and beyond.
Watching everyone working motivated me to mow my lawn. Thanks!

ive wondered about those walls holding all that pressure myself, they are obviously been well built!

@@wichitajake8032 Somehow water pressure is entirely determined by height of the water and not volume.
I think most of the weight goes to the ground

We're a week into our corn harvest right now and the smell of corn silage never gets old
Drone showed the fields looking beautiful.

Love that gospel music!! God Bless!
always amazes me how little people know of the food chain and where things come from, but I grew up around Ag and still stick a toe in it. Thanks and God Bless the American Farmers and Ranchers
I agree. Especially in bigger cities the less people know bout this way of life.
Yes God bless all farmers
LOVE that version of LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS ! It looks as soothing as the music but I know it was a lot of work ! Great to have that much behind you ! God Bless !

Grass really came in down around your new barn
Different crop strips in the fields look really cool from the air! Cheers and Blessings! 🙏
Love the music you played with the drone shots.
Eric looks like 2021 corn silage is just about done with for the year now and I'm willing to bet that you'll be proud to have it done with too have a great day now

Another good one my friend, enjoyed the drone footage with the great music selection! 👍🙏
Love the drone shots. The fields were beautiful and all of the tires sorta looked like the chain mall amour.
Love the music, and the song. I live by it everyday.
That aerial drone footage of the fields was great to see! Nice work!
One of my very favorite hymns. Thanks for playing it Eric.
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms. Loved the video.

Got to the end of the clip - I hope we will see more bunker filling direct from the field - that was super amazing last time.
I love the music, reminds of old blue grass from home in Brittany.
Awesome job guys,,super blessed because you're not ashamed of your creator...amazing beauty in your landscape too.
thanks for the tire toss footage, i know i would need a break after the second one
Your drone shots are beautiful!!
Looking thru comments realize how few people realize how a cow's digestive track works, or how strip tillage works. Were those drone shots or from the top of the silo?
Drone shots
No matter how many machines you have it is still a lot of work
I must say yours is one of the prettiest farms on UA-cam. I love the winding fields.
Lancaster County Pennsylvania has some beautiful, well maintained dairy farms. Love that area of our country
@@bhensel100 I’m sure nice farmers are everywhere. 🤷♂️
Thanks for the hymn.
Loved the trailer drifting at 03:55!

Loved the music in this video. You and your family are hard workers. Prayers for the best.
It is always kind of mind blowing when the chopper is filling a wagon that is following behind and they hit it right on!
those drone shots of the farm and district are some of the nicest things I've seen in recent memory
Great drone shots!
Eric, that was really beautiful drone shots. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your harvest. Thank you so much. Blessings to you and your family. 🇨🇦
Beautiful drone shots!! Looks so nice there.
Only in a country with modern agriculture can this be done. you are so great!

Amazing how even though it is the same thing it is still different from the year before
Love the drone shots. So beautiful. I am so glad there was only surface water in the field. Whew. Thank you for sharing this was just wonderful.
The chopping crew is quite the team.
Eric fantastic video excellent drone footage beautiful neat fields and farm buildings immaculate you should all be proud. 👍🙏
that field with the springs would be a great fish pond location.
Yeah, but the cows won't eat the fish.
The drone video of those fields is beautiful!

Tossing those tires reminded me of shoveling gravel scenes on 'Cool Hand Luke' 👍
I remember I used to harvest all the corn back in the village and feel the corn smell during harvest. You remind me of all the past. Thanks

Beautiful job.
Leaning on the Ever Lasting Arms! I LOVE it!!!
How colorful your farmland looks in the drone shot, thought you'd like to know I noticed!

When you guys initially acquired all of those tires and had to cut them up that had to of sucked so bad lol
