So, during the test if the instructor asked to change lanes but there was no safe gap to do it, and the solid line comes, i mean to say we are already in the intersection then what should we do? Go straight as wr couldn’t find any safe gap?
How many time you recommend to look at the rear mirror before changing lane? I saw you in example 4 looked at the rear mirror few times before passing. I found it sometimes difficult if you are travelling at 60km/hr and there are cars on the lane you intend to change lane.
Hey tt871006! You need to check it as many times as you need. I always recommend the student if they can see the full car from top to bottom in their rearview mirror as well as their side mirror, then it is a safe gap as long as they maintain their speed. If they change lane while slowing down then the lane change isn't safe. Hope this helps!
