Had the pleasure of getting a haircut by Lars with my Brothers when we visited the Philippines last year. Better than most of the barbers i’ve been to here in California.
If you like this video of Manila, stay tuned for CEBU in the coming weeks. SUBSCRIBE so you don't miss it. Thank you for all of the support and kind messages. The Philippines was my 31st country getting a haircut in!
You should also go to Lars’ brother’s barber shop, Homie Barber Shop. It’s located also near Lars Republic. Homie is also a very talented barber. He has been my barber for 4 years now and I would recommend him for his meticulous, sharp, and neat barber skills 💯 The brothers share the same vibe with the hip-hop and homey style or environment but Homie is more lowkey than Lars is.
“So the music in his barber house was amazing 😃”. Shame we couldn’t hear it🙁! Instead we got some dreadful over-dubbed muzak ☹️. If you’re going to do a World Barbershop Tour, it needs to include local SOUND and vision. so that we get the whole experience. It’s good to hear all the background city sounds, the local languages and barber shop sounds, as well as all the local radio stations. Haven’t a clue what they are saying, but it’s all part of the experience. It’s why we watch 😀...
I totally understand this point of view and wish I could show everything in its entirety. The sound rights on UA-cam and the other platforms make it extremely difficult. That is why I have transitioned into no background music in my most recent productions.
magaling siya pero pasensya na sa kapwa pinoy ko.mas masisiyahan kayo ng utol mo sa serbisyobg ibibigay ko sayo yung aantukin at makakatulog ka sa shop ko.hindi minamadali.
Bro that fade is so avarage to be polite. The fade could do with being more graduated and there is inconsistent dark patches . This guy is trying to fly before he can walk ! No guidelines . And as for your brothers trim ??? High fade bro I am half Filipino so believe me I would love to give this guy a good rating but for a pro with his own shop. That knew he was being filmed , yeah bro he just didn’t turn up both trims were avarage at best . Honestly I could of faded your brothers hair better with a pair of chopsticks! 😂
Damnnnnnn, CL! You brought the heat! I can't agree with you but you are entitled to your own opinion. Thanks for checking out the video! I appreciate it.

Jiam TV how much is the cut? For lars and for his brother?
jr abad at Homie Barber Shop, a haircut costs P120. I’m not sure at Lars tho
Thank you for that adding that information. These guys are very talented!
There are a lot of good barbers in the philippines. They're also much cheaper!
Tons of talent on the islands. Its not all about cost all of the time. Environment and personality have a price as well.
Good murning where in manila the school for barber i want to enroll?
Sorry, I am not aware.
Try me sir hehe but I don't have a shop. Only home set up. I'm from Cebu City Philippines
Did you watch the Cebu episode?
You didn’t mentioned how much you paid for the haircut
Try nicole & hanz in makati
Hope to get back someday and look them up. Thank you!
Try Slick Barbers Co.
Okay. Thanks.

How much did you pay in your hair cut
Less than $20 US. Not sure of the exact number.
@@MattJavit expensive. In a first class barbershop in malls in manila it will only cost less than 10 dollars

How much for the cut?
I'd rather not post as he takes private appointments only. Yes, it was more than the typical $1 charge for haircuts in the Philippines.

Why its seems like he's in a hurry cutting🤣🤣
He wasn't going too fast.
