There’s a tiny little hold under the handle you push a wire into that releases the first catch on the door handle so you don’t need a little plastic wedge to get it off.

Very helpful, but what's the size of rivets you used the most hard part is that.
@24:45: when tightening brackets to the window glass: how did you align tge vertical position of those brackets to reach tge bottom of the glass? mine are stuck near the middle if the door and can not be pushed, cause motor is blocking them. If I activate the motor it might wrack the inside since brackets are loose now.
Do I need to change the panel to a new one or can I use the old panel.
What is the size of the rivets for the panel ? I couldn’t find anything to put back😢

But what size of rivets you used ?
You will need a 6,4mm diamater and I used 12mm long. Works perfectly. Little longer or shorter should work as well.
What size drill bit was you using??
This design when that huge metal plate is bolted to the door frame with the rivets is really showing the moronic approach of the door Skoda designers. What a dumb idea ? They obviously wanted to save $ on 10 screws ! Idiots. And now we have to pay for it.
Also the design as such is so horrific - instead of using a single pivot point to lift or lower down the glass, they use that X shaped complex system.
I reckon it’s aso t try and force people to go to an official skoda repair shop…
There is a motor powering it and I think these wires are designed to snap if something gets caught in the window,the rivet thing is no big deal you drill them out,I am drilling new holes for some smaller rivets as the ones they have used a specialist type,not sure what is done here.
