No, as a rule I don’t tie them down because the trailer deflects (bounces) different that the boom does. It’s hard on the swing bearing and often breaks chains or binders or worse yet damages boom. I always have the upper chained so it can’t swing but not in a way that could damage the rig.
@@Junkyardmethod all I ever ran was hydraulic power boosters. I had friends ran east coast setups. Every big dip in the road I seen there stinger just pick the back end of there wagon off the ground no thanks lol
I’ve tried every mirror extension on the market. Short of mobile home style they aren’t worth the cost or trouble. The only style that was even close is made by Murray.

One reason I don't really care for the East coast setup
Agreed. In my over the road days all I ran were west coast. The nitro stingers have made it better but still not as easy as west coast setups.

If you have the proper mirror extensions you don’t need the flags to see the booster!!!
