@@PaulDoldenDetails just saying it as I see it mate. I must have been in the Christmas spirit or the frost may have been introduced to my bin🤣. Hope you and the family have a great Christmas
Doesn't surprise me at all with regards to Frost. I had the same experience of the IW Citrus Pre-wash. Everyone was raving about it online but when I tested it properly, it was disappointing. Instructed to use at a stronger 5% PIR so more product used than the likes of BH AF or GT V2 & the performance was only about 60-70% of them. The Detox shampoo looks nice, I do enjoy washing the cars this way in the winter for quickness 👍
Thanks for the feedback Brian, always good to get product info from other users. It confirms my thoughts or sometimes challenges me to have another look. Yep, I enjoyed using the Detox and has been suggested to me to try GT in that way!
I got the mystery box with these in, I like Detox but Frost I can take or leave, it works but not as good as my usual pre-wash. I actually bought another bottle of Detox in the BF sales but didn't bother with Frost. For winter I generally like to use BH Auto-Foam or HDD Road Rage as a pre-wash (through a pump sprayer).
Hi Martin, love your honest opinion on these products, I'm sure many others do too. For those dirty wheel's try some Autosmart Red7, I've used it for a long time & it's never let me down. Spray on, leave a couple of minutes & then get in with a suitable brush & rinse off. Can also be used as a fallout remover. Keep up the good work.
Always enjoy your videos Martin, very helpful and informative, but why does youtube have to spoil it by having 6 adverts in your clip, totaling about two and a half minutes, with most of it in the first 5 minutes. Completely spoils the enjoyment. But carry on the good work, I never miss one of your clips.
Hi Martin, hope you're well? I must say I was incredibly interested to hear your opinions on these as i know how honest you are, and my own experience of Infinity Wax has always been underwhelming (so much so that ive never even featured them on my own channel despite multiple recommendations in nearly every one if my comment sections!!). I found them to be one of the most overrated brands out there and clearly Frost falls into that category - you might as well have just pre rinsed that car with the garden hose for all the good it did! Anyway, great video nonetheless! Hope you and the family are all good and getting ready for xmas 🎄😊
Hello mate, so good to hear from you. Hope all is well with the family and wishing you all a happy Christmas and a healthy new year. Your view of infinity Wax is the same as mine but after seeing a number of reviews recently I thought I would give them another go. So after spending just over £120.00 I have a number of their products that will feature on the channel but the bin may well come into play. I have a quick video next week where they fair little better. Take care mate and hope to see you on my screen soon, we all miss you
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer I really look forward to watching those videos Martin... I think 'the bin' should be an integral part of any review channel but sadly only a small minority of us actually seem to use one! Enjoy the football and enjoy the lovely weather 🤣 chat soon my friend. 👍🏼
You can tell that Frost will be crap because it doesnt have the corrosive symbol on the label meaning it must be close to ph neutral. I think you were very kind saying that it was average Martin. Id class it as useless. I reckon just a rinse with water would have given similar results.
That's a great video! I was really confused when I saw these two products get launched...and I still am. I can't work out how these are different to their citrus wash and powerfoam? From a pre-wash perspective anyway. Not that their citrus is amazing compared to Garage Therapy...but I'm biased here as I just don't like citrus pre-wash.
Good video Martin , yes Frost is a poor pre wash , you cannot beat Road Rage on a filthy car ! The shampoo is nice to use though. I personally find Infinity Wax a bit hit and miss . Rapid detailer ,exellent. Spotless + exellent . Incinerate Wheel Cleaner exellent .Wheel Shampoo good product .Interior Detailer good poduct and i like some of the tyre dressings i also think the Synergy products are very good . Myself personally i have tried almost all of there products and there are only a small amount that i would buy again . Good honest review as always 👍 All the best :)
@@skidmarkbill cheers mate, sounds like you have a shelf full. Incinerate is up next. As a spoiler, yes it works but not for me. You will have to watch the video to find out why👍
Good vid again Martin and always good to hear you opinion. I use gt shampoo in the foam gun as you used detox and it’s my preferred way to wash now after my pre wash routine.I use 30ml shampoo and 300 ml water spray over car tip empty remaining mixture in to my bullshit bucket with 6 wash pads, agitate and start my wash. Gives a loverly slick wash 👍👍
My first thought seeing this was great , another couple of quality products from Infinity Wax........ how disappointing was Frost 😮 Detox looked ok though but just ok . Back to the drawing board for Infinity Wax i think . Well done Martin , you've saved me a few quid there 😉
I just wonder if that Frost stuff would have faired better in a spray bottle rather than lance applied, it seemed to dilute it too much (even if it does state lance applied on the bottle)
Yep I did think of doing that but after such poor results on the first application I was now on a time restraint as my Daughter wanted the car back so just went with what I knew would deliver
It'd hard to beet good old autosmart I use their g101 for a pre wash and their snow foam and then a good bucket off warm water with autosmart duet shampoo great finish all the time
Good video surprised at the results as a general rule infinity wax do very good products ,I use there products on a daily basis and have always been more than happy .But can’t help but agree with the results the hole point is it needs to clean
This is what puts people off snowfoams they claim it cleans winter grime yet this happens just another product with a colour and name change for cash too many brands doing this now martin
Nice 1 martin always good 2 hear your opinions on new products & from what u have said there a no no 4 cleaning as other products better so keeps the wallet closed 😀 👍
Hi Martin. Quite disappointing prewash from Infinity Wax as any products I have tried from them I have been very impressed with and I am fairly patriotic with products I use as we are spoiled with choice in the Central Belt with Angelwax, Infinity Wax & Mitchell & King. If you put a 100ml into 750ml and it was still pretty watery I hate to think how quickly it would have run off at the stated dilution. Have you been treating yourself on Black Friday I am pretty sure you have bought a Carscope nozzle & if so I think they are one of the best upgrades you can buy. With regards the one bucket wash method that is the way to go for me these days especially in winter to minimize the time outside in the cold and to be honest I also did it in the non existent summer we had this year. At least the shampoo was a thumbs up and you didn't have a completely wasted day detailing. Maybe you need to put some citrus into the Frost to give it some bite as I presume it is PH neutral.
I have to say John, Im not IF wax biggest fan but really liked the shampoo, defiantly worth buying when it hits the shops. No Black Friday buys for me, Skint🤷🏻♂️
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer I have to say I did treat myself to a few items for wheels tyres and Glass cleaning from a brand I have not tried before from Yorkshire. That stuff needs to go in the bin IMO or at least back to where you got it from and they can put it in the bin. The shampoo looks a good idea but you’ll run through that bottle in no time compared to the best in the business like Car Chem 1900:1 shampoo.
