Thanks for the info Tour. I fish out of a Jackson Big Rig and that thing is a barge with a Trolling motor ,two wheel chair batteries plus an ice chest for my fish, drinks and a couple of sandwiches so anything less than a foot and a half deep and ill be dragging the bottom.
Well your in luck the tide had been way up. So alot of places to check out. But don't count out those shallow areas because that's where the Reds like to Hunt. Thanks for watching Joe and Tight lines
That's cool showing spots. I have a few hot spots but one has always been a tournament size Redfish producer on 1 particular bait. Plastics won't work for some reason. They want live finger mullet & it's a 3.5' to 4' gut between Surfside & San Luis Pass. We are headed back out after the weekend. We only wish during work weeks when boat traffic is light.
I like to show easy spots that anyone can see for themselves. Just stuff I wish I knew starting out. Yea sometimes bait is the way to go. Especially for tournament fish
Almost there Sir. I take inspiration from how you do your videos. Infact me and Metal Mike were talking about how we both watch you. Onwards and Upwards
Thanx for the info. I’ll definitely hit that spot up next time I’m down there. On another note, just ordered a Cajun coastal yesterday, completely forgot about your discount code! Next time. Congrats on the 1k subscribers!
Yea very true. Just didn't come to mind because I don't catch alot of those. At least myself but yes . So many good areas there. Thanks Angel for watching
Let's name that area "Kiddie Korner". Justin also mentioned that was one of his early spots. Good info, Mr Wolf, hope to make it there soon as the wind dies down a bit.
Just to add some helpful details, coming from Corpus, the flyover exit to circle back to the Fish Habitat Launch is Moore Avenue, and the exit to take off the freeway is the one pointing to Indian Point Pier (and turn around beneath the bridge).
Thanks John. Those depths range actually most are at least over 2ft-4ft I can't be specific because I haven't been over there with my depth finder. Thanks again John
Thanks for the video breakdown. Just picked up my first kayak and I am looking for a spot to practice. Looks like a good area. Any other recommendations? Might be going out tomorrow morning.
Yea man. Thanks for watching. As far as fishing I would work the banks along the road side. Take some dead shrimp if the bite is slow just on a jighead. Now I tell all beginners. Keep your head center line on the boat if a wave comes push you weight against the wave not with. At some point do a self recovery mainly to show yourself you can. Goodluck and tightlines
Your right it is. You probably got out in about 18mph there and still be ok. The bank is high so yea. I don't even go out when it gets to high but if you can only fish on a certain day than yes worth it

What are the water depths inside the fish habitat maze?
Thanks John. Those depths range actually most are at least over 2ft-4ft I can't be specific because I haven't been over there with my depth finder. Thanks again John

You can launch at the hotel but they charge 5.00
Awesome thanks for info Angel
This looks like a safe spot in a south wind. What do you think the safe mph threshold is to fish close to the nature preserve?
Your right it is. You probably got out in about 18mph there and still be ok. The bank is high so yea. I don't even go out when it gets to high but if you can only fish on a certain day than yes worth it
@@WolfsFishing thank you so much. Tight lines!
