- If you have taken a video of the Moon (or Sun) with a cell phone or DSLR/Mirrorless camera and want to learn how to stack it to get the best results, this is the tutorial for you. If you are using an astro/planetary camera, you can skip the first part of the video (which covers converting phone/dslr/mirrorless videos to .avi format). I also cover sharpening and processing the video in AstroSurface.

I have watched several videos on the subject and this is the best one nice one😊
I have a small 50mm refractor 🔭 and recently I tried capturing the moon. This is a great video. Thank you man for teaching us how to use these softwares.
Happy to help. Feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions :)
I'm very new to astrophotography. This video was helpful and easy to understand. Thank you!
Thank you! :)
Nicely done. Thank you for taking the time and effort to produce this informative video.
My pleasure! :)
Brilliant video! 😊
Great job! This was a great walkthrough.
Thank you. Glad you like it :)
Excellent tutorial! Very helpful. Thanks!
Thank you :)
When I click the Lunar Close up option it doesn't show the red box
It would be better if you increased the size of your pointer it was hard to see on the program boxes. I am going to run this on my tablet so I can follow along on the computer. Cheers Robert Aust'
Hi Robert. Thank you for the feedback. I make my videos and process my images on a 55" 4k monitor so on devices smaller than a regular 22" computer monitor, some things can look small. I will make sure to increase my pointer size for any future processing videos. Cheers.
I have downloaded the same dated program as you have here but I'm not getting the banner at the top with all of the options. I've done something wrong? Can you direct me? Thanks Al
Hi there. Just want to confirm if you download version 2 (one I have) from the link here?: astrosurface.com/pageuk.html
There is no option to hide toolbars in the program and I am not able to make my toolbar disappear so I am not sure what is going on. You can also try running the program as an administrator in case it's a permissions issue. If that doesn't work, you can reach out to the author of the program (his email is lucien2900@yahoo.fr according to his Astrosurface website).
I wonder why you only use the wavelets and did not try deconvolution. I use a combination of deconvolution and wavelets and it works great.
