This reminds me of a time not-so-long-ago when I had more than one acquaintance who would stack one CRT television on top of a larger, cabinet-enclosed CRT t.v. so they could get a working picture from one and working audio from the other. 🤓

Yes, I use a new needle each time. For little videos like this where I am only playing a few seconds, I would probably use the same needle if I did several 'takes', but no more. Thanks 😀 👍

@@mrrgstuff Recently I put a sock inside the horn of my fake gramophone to adjust the sound. It sounds more clear without mixing instruments.

Interesting. I would think that the sock may remove some of the higher frequencies, including surface noise. So that may well be why the sound quality has improved as well as the volume reducing. 🤔. Thanks 😀 👍
