That's right Jon, a real champ rematches someone who beat them rather than fleeing the division, waiting 3 years until Stipe is too old and Francis is gone, and cherry picking the one guy in the division with zero grappling in order to get a belt like some people we know... 😂😂😂
a real champ rematches, like Jon did against DC and Gustafson.....Jones vs Stipe was announced while tom was out for a year, and before he was interim champ.... ..just saying......sometimes fights take longer to materialize....

Petrol on the knuckles was really popular when I was a kid! That’s the first time I’ve heard anyone mention it in 20years. It was a thing, and probably still is with the he travelling community.

dunno if toms taking piss with the petrol thing.. although i have watched knuckle and thats what big joe joyce said he did for bareknuckle fights... But also me knowing anything we put on our skin is ingested into our body, i cant see petrol doing any good on our internal organs even if it does toughen the knuckle skin.. it certainly does not harden the knuckle bones..

Ariel was extremely off putting in this interview. Passive aggressive forsure
I hope Aspinall won't get any injuries from that petrol soaking. I know he is trying to improve, but that is just too risky. I think the modern tight gloves should have taken into consideration, they could peel off the hardened skin from his knuckles and it's basically over from there. If I were a pro fighter, I would use lotion regularly to not get any skin damage.

Please stop it. None of these guys are scared if each other. They always look at fights from a business perspective. Jon looks at the fight that can get him the biggest pay day. Tom Aspinall is a beast but outside of the UK he doesn't sell many PPVs. Even Paddy Pimblett sells more than Tom. Jon vs Stipe is guaranteed millions of PPVs hence why it's a huge fight.

The Worm is truly unusual. How he would not let a complete non issue, like Aspinall finding the Cortez hair irony funny, go. He always does that. He repeatedly returns to and leans on his personal point of offense and then passive aggressively pushes that point 2-3 more times with a smile on his face as if he's being quirky and silly while putting the fighter in a bad light over nothing. He is exhausting.

I'm no expert but i would advise Tom against dipping his hands in petrol. I know of bare knuckle fighters (Danny Christie) that swear against doing it. Its something Tyson Fury did for the Wilder fights so understandable why Tom has that same mentality. But its a speed run to the dreaded C word. I am actually dissapointed to hear Tom is doing this, and Andy allows it. I thought he had more intelligence than that. Do you think Leon Edwards is doing that BS.. oh hell no.
