Thanks for taking us along for the ride Cam. I’ve only done this flight a bunch of times in my baron and it never gets boring. Pilots Rolle and Gibson ( not sure who landed) did a great job with the 15 knot quartering crosswind.
Great airline. I personally love the jet, it gets to exuma so fast. Fly western air to get to exuma and then check out Exuma Pig Tours when you're in Georgetown exuma
Western air already tops any other bahamian airlines in bahamian history. Including bahamas air which recieves government money and still cant stay out of dept
@@drenxdoorthey just feeling there way into new markets and with the virus coming all plans to expand to places like florida and orlando got place back .we gotta to remember the airline industry is tuff and unpredictable if they make a wrong choice there are no government bailouts.
@@lamargriffin8696 that’s not why they aren’t allowed into the United States. Western Air does not make trips to the United States because Rex Rolle the founder of western air was banned (not allowed) back into the United States. This states why Western Air is not allowed into the United States
I wish western air could fly to ELH and GBH..the distance is only 50 NM to ELH and 64 to GBH so perhaps with the props not much of a difference time wise. A long time ago they did have 727-200 service to Rock Sound from the states Freddie Laker Airways if I’m not mistaken.
I agree that the Bahamian airlines needs to be more punctual. that being said I’ve been on the other side where sometimes flights left early!!! My concern is that many of the turboprops, banderetes, etc are more than 30 years old and they need to modernize their fleets
@@ctpete333 agreed but most Bahamian owned airlines started from average people that built there way up to a multi million dollar company and the problem is it takes billions or even hundreds of millions to buy all new planes and that could bankrupt any small and medium size companies .even silver airways still use that saabs because their efficient ,safe and still cheap to maintain

Nice shot of Highborn cay
That's my house at 27:07 can't really see it but that's the area I live
Nice
I wonder why they would not start flights into ft lauterdale
Been wondering the same thing and i dont see the reason why honestly given that they have the fleet to accommodate such route and capacity.
I know I ask this a lot, but FL?
They would probably beat bahamas air
