liked this...i've been exercising for 35yrs so im always looking for something new to beat being board ....not too hard but did make me sweat....i would say it's exercises with a "yoga feel"
I am YRT350 certified (as well as FIS, PTS) and I don't know why other yoga instructors are being so hard on you - being so judgmental goes against yoga principles, no? LOL. Maybe they need a yoga principle refresher. I happen to think you are very creative and I could definitely use some of these moves in my advanced classes. I feel that anything that motivates people to move (safely) and to breathe is how we (instructors) contribute to the wellness of others. Not everyone will gravitate to traditional yoga. This is a great way for those who are pro-fitness to transition into yoga and also for those who just do yoga to transition into fitness. You did a great job incorporating a full body workout with a cardiovascular component. Thank you for sharing this and don't let other people's negativities sway you in any way. Best of luck to you. There are a few ideas for using yoga reduce weight Find a reputable program locally or online and stick to it Do yoga with a friend so you have another person to help you (I learned these and the reasons they work from Yaras Yoga Tactics website )

I love this workout, thank you so much! It is the perfect amount of yoga mixed with cardio, legs and abs. It is not too long and I work up a good sweat! You are a great instructor.
I am a certified vinyassa yoga instructor 200RYT & think that is great for this style of class. There is over a dozen styles of yoga. POWER YOGA is not classic yoga. Kundalini Yoga is not hatha yoga. Yin yoga has little to no alignment. Whatever brings one to the mat should be blessed. :]
I really enjoy this sequence, and for about a year I have been coming back to it, but I almost always have to stop because I just collapse from wrist pain within the first few minutes. The rest of it feels great, though.
I can understand some of the comments here to an extent, I didn't watch the girl in the pink as much as I paid attention to the instructor. No, this isn't your classic yoga class but that's why I chose to do it today. I wanted to get some use out of my weights, and this was perfect for it. Thank you!
This is an awesome quick swear session but if you REALLY want to get your butt kicked, download Becca Riopelle's full video on yoga download,com. I just finished it and I'm DRENCHED in sweat. It's an amazing hiit routine. Not really yoga but it will strengthen u and burn a TON of calories.
It's basically some exercises with yoga asana names thrown in here and there. Yoga follows some basic principles. For example movement and breathing are synchronized, breathing is through nose all the times, and even in asanas where the chest is compressed, you strive to breathe normally. All these bring in a relaxed state to mind. If you don't want any of that, and just want to incorporate some asana like exercises, then don't call it yoga. And people don't need some certifications to understand that.
Great ideas here. I am a Power Yoga, Hot Yoga and Sculpt instructor. The girl in the pink top has horrific alignment, so much so that I would def use someone else next time you make a video, she's hard to watch... But like I said, good workout and there are some good ideas I could pull from here for sure
Too bad that so much of the Yoga gets mangled here...it looks like bodypumpers that had a couple of yoga classes. Not ONE reference to alignment, posture (asana) or breath. Why even call it Yoga? Oh well whatever.
