KastKing Folding Landing Net Review

Several weeks ago I picked up a new fishing net, the KastKing Folding Landing Net. The net is rubberized, it folds, and has a few neat bells and whistles. While it's not the best net for a Kayak, it will work. What I like about the net is that it is very versatile and can work for bank fishing, boating, and kayaking. I just bought one, glad to see you like it. I was turned off by the fact it doesnt float, however, watching you catch fish on the delta with the net under your leg, I was set on the longer handle for similar technique.

Nice net. As far as adding flotation for it, what if you pulled the end cap off of the sliding handle section, then cut a pool noodle lengthwise to fit the inside diameter, then put the foam inside the handle. Reattach the cap afterwards. Just a thought.

I'll mess with it and see if I can. I've seen some wrap the hoop with a pool noodle, not sure if it will work for this one.

$40 for a folding net, not bad at all. You could still possibly get some pipe insulation foam tube around the inside of the net if the loops are big enough around the frame arms. Still not a bad looking net at all, just waiting to see you catch a big ol bucket mouth in there,10lbs should be a nice test of strength.
