Some really unique and interesting zines/books. I especially like Sorgenfryd's "Grey Skies and Black Sand" though Comaschi's "Script Manent" is a very close contender for my favourite. I love these videos.
I'm a huge fan of Daniel Newcomb's work. He does an exception and interesting job preserving not just the visual elements of American history in architecture but the feeling too. Many of the images feel equally anachronistic and contemporaneous with the themes of decay and nostalgia. Bravo!
Happy New Year !You're an inspiration!Your monologue explains clearly the magical images !l began photography l was 14 in order to escape my very catholic family in a club in order to meet men but l fell in love with my rolleiflex!!l'm very proud my son 41 years old is crazy about photography:is it in dna????He takes more pictures than me!from Paris.
Good day Sir. I really enjoy the series where you present works of others. One thing perhaps to consider would be to include very trivial, yet 'good to know' information on which printing service was used. Big thank you for all that you do and have a smashing 2024!! Filip
Hi Ted, I enjoy your content as it is a break from all the review, technique/how to channels. Please forgive this next question if you’ve addressed it previously but is it possible to recommend printers for those that wish to self publish?
The talent out there is amazing. They raise the bar so high...a good thing. You provide a wonderful service, so to speak, in bringing excellent artists to light (no pun intended). Thank you, sir. Happy New Year.
Hey Ted, I sent in my photo story book from a summer work trip in Greece a while back and would love to hear what you think about the work on Mail Time. Are you still continuing to do Mail Time in the New Year?
Some really great work here. Daniel Newcomb's book is stunning and I love his Chelsea Hotel photographs as I lived there for 28 years!
Thanks so much. I appreciate that. I have a zine just in my photos of hotel Chelsea.
I have a book in the making that I'd love to send you. Can I still do that?
Ted, can you make a tutorial on how to make your own book? (:

Some great work here. The first two projects really resonated with me. Thanks for showing
I printed a book on blurb. One that lays flat. Nice photos spread but cardboard like paper.
Grey Skies and Black Sand looks preety awesome, i may buy one. =)

Thank you for the amazing words! Cheers
What a great work again in this video, really inspires me to publish a book myself in the near future!!
My photobook review is coming.. I can feel it! Open that black shipping box, I promise it's worth it :)

Why did you refer to Ralph Gibson as Ralph Gibson? surely they are two different people of different nationalities!
Ted, can't thank you enough for this series. It is always truly inspiring, and the way you critique is so valuable.
I came across a link of your video on Canvas Discount, so happy I did. Enjoying it tremendously.
TYSM for what you are doing! You are inspiring me!
I love that you're getting back to the art of photography and less about the gear stuff!
Why are some pages left blank?
Did Nikon ever made a medium format camera? 🤔
thank you for your interesting videos.
Thanks for the kind words Ted! - Eivind
very nice presentation and inspiration.
I really dislike when photography books are full bleed, I've gotten rid of books for only that reason.
Tnank you very inspiring
Thankyou ❤
Wow!
I would totally buy Scripta Manent, his work is stunning. And I must disagree re: black border - in this case it works like a charm!
Like any artist; I love watching you posts and looking for great ideas to "barrow."
