Zad Ras It has all the menus done, and the story is translated up to Ch 9. I'd put my money on it being the first complete professional patch for Thracia.

hi Model Omega, because i am not ready to play this game yet, i come back to this channel often and watch this guide because it is really great ! thank you !
1999-2000 , wow thats pretty late in the snes lifespan, by then im sure alot of people have playstations and dreamcasts, and especially more powerful consoles would come up
Yeah, it was actually the last game ever released for the Super Famicom in a physical cartridge format. The last game to be officially published for the system was the unreleased Star Fox 2, made available in an emulated format on the SNES Classic in 2017. (BTW, I said "Super Famicom" instead of "SNES" because Thracia 776 was never officially released outside of Japan. This was pre-Blazing Blade. Y'know, back in the days when Nintendo and Intelligent Systems thought Americans were too dumb for games that required a bit more thinking than just selecting an option and watching your character do a thing. I mean, that's still a thing in Fire Emblem, but you have to be a bit more clever with how you go about doing it.)
@@ryangallagher9723 yeah I am very aware of that. I kinda expected something that's amazing and hardware pushing for a snes game released in 2000, but luckily starfox 2 is more fitting
Nice video. I started playing this game the other day without reading or watching anything about it and right off the bat I noticed some mechanics were a bit off to my knowledge (I played Shadow Dragon, Mystery of the Emblem, Awakening and If). In the 3rd chapter I decided to study some of these, but I wasn't expecting this much! I still want to learn about this game by playing it, and don't look up at any guides, but on a side note, why are my units triple attacking with normal, iron weapons? And is there a way to know when you or the enemy will do multiple attacks?
"why are my units triple attacking with normal, iron weapons?" That's either the Continue skill (gives additional attack with %=attack speed) or Charge skill (gives additional combat round if HP&AttackSpeed>Opponent's) "is there a way to know when you or the enemy will do multiple attacks?" When you have the combat stat screen up before confirming the attack- the VERY bottom numbers of both sides is Attack Speed, units double attack if their AS is at least 4 greater then the other's.
Thanks for the response, and that was really fast too! So I guess looking up to know the skills and the scrolls better should be good, but that's as far as I'm going.
"Darkness" of war, fatigue, and status ailment staves make me hesitate playing this one... for now. On the bright side, I feel like I should wait for an improved English patch for this game anyway. *To anyone out there who has already played the game in it's current state, would you share your impression of the experience??* Did the interface/writing hinder or weaken the game for ya??
+AverageJoe5050 The game is still very playable, for me anyways. You get used to the random symbols and crap once you play it enough. Watching/Reading up on a guide is almost essential if you wanna get far into the game. While there are times where the game gets way too bullshitty, I'll admit some of the situations can still be managed through if you're smart enough. I wouldn't recommend playing this as your first Fire Emblem, but give it a go if you're feeling gutsy.
MisterSpeedStacking Sorry, but can you signal what specific point you're talking about so I can be more specific? But if I think I know what you're referring to, what I pointing out in a capton is that the "Anim" gibberish pop-up after a level-up means the character has increased their movement score.
MisterSpeedStacking Ohhh... that's what you meant. Well in the very top of the "config" menu are the options for displaying animations. First is on, second is off, and the third makes this "anime" option appear for each unit in their list of commands, which is a switch to turn that unit's animations on or off. Useful for staff users, because mon deiu their animations are long.
Hey i have a quick question, Do you get weapon experience when fighting in the arena's cause i noticed that the weapons i was using weren't losing durability, and i'm thinking that i'm not getting weapon experience cause of it
this is kinda late, but yeah. It's considered really easy, and rewards you for breaking the game. One early game map has a boss your not supposed to beat, but if you do you get an item that almost maxes your defense.
+Nostalgiasaurus From experience, it requires more patience than most titles. You'll want to keep everyone close to Sigurd, not only for the leadership bonus, but also so he can bail them out should they get into too much trouble. You'll also want to be more careful with your mage units. Of course, with this slower approach, you won't be able to save all the villages in the chapters where bandits burn them down, so it is up to you in that case to decide whether the treasure in the village is worth risking your units for.

Harvee™ For me, the relationship system to make sure you get decent offspring the next generation was just too much micro managing, I mean i understand that is an extension of the buddy system which is common but those are not mandatory but you can end u with quite a subpar roster if u do not put some times into nurturing relationships.
theuglykwan I can understand that. It never bothered me and went almost unnoticed for me. The only time I remember it being an annoyance was when transporting my units across the map of chapter 3, because at all other times I usually had them clumped together anyways to bottleneck points or to surround enemies or to make a defensive wall or something. It depends on how you play the game, I guess.

I am baffled at how hard this game is... Going blind on this game is suicide, I mean even with this guide I am struggling due to really bad RNG...
i once had my Orsin miss twice with 91 accuracy
Yeah because it doesn't have double roll RNG like the later games
There's a patch you can use to add that mechanic though
My Finn missed a 99
Finn once got hit with a 63 but dodged a would've been fatal 92
The game fucking cheats

I want it so I can hate it.
Looking at the place names, there should be rain on every map in this game.
