I was born in 82 but my mom and dad were born in 50 and 51. This is the music I heard my whole life and I love it! It used to be played on 103.3 KLOU St. Louis, when I was growing up. It was called the oldies but goodies station. now they play all 80s music☹️

Awesome era.i was born in 1950.Times weren't easy growing up in Newfoundland as we had no hydro until 1962 and no running water until 1966 but We were HAPPIER then than now.
Back then at the time I was a teen during the late 50s and early 60s. I lived in the fast lane with my old Harley and my quick 32 Duce coupe, Caddy powered.always checking out the sweet beautiful ladies that always dressed to the 9s. As a young guy part of the game was to skeem on the ladies. Loved them all never broke their hearts. The music was clean and made sense.Anyone could understand what was being sung. No rap crap with bag language or disrespect. Music like this brings me back to those good ole days of fun and being safe where ever ya roamed. To bad today’s world has lost it self no respect for it self or others. Glad I lived the dream back then.

Great compilation of classic music, but.... when modern engineers take these originals and “remaster” the mix to get rid of artefacts and hiss, they usually manage to throw out that indefinable “soul” of the music.
