I watched 100 videos before purchasing mine. And the TL is not without faults. Transmission, cracking seats/dash, squeaky brakes, education is key.

You mean a Hot air intake? Nah bro... You'd be better off removing your spare tire vs adding a short ram... 10lbs = 1 horsepower when it comes to weight reduction... Not an exact number but a relatively safe number to go off of.. 50lbs reduction = 5hp worth of mods & you keep your healthy stock air intake that works perfectly fine. Go cold air intake or keep it stock. You'd be better off saving for a tune, and taking your spare tire & jack out. That's just an old mechanics advice.... Lighter rims and tires make a huge difference also...
I got the progressive sway bar, and ya its tighter, probably too tight because i went from sliding out at my autocross to spinning around because my tires were shit.
I've gone through three of them currently my Type-S just went into limp mode cuz the battery voltage just had to go buy a new battery now I got to do a 3x 3 flush and replace 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches everybody should do preventative maintenance before mods 👌👌

OEM lips are discontinued. But might be able to find it through the dealer. I bought mines 2 years ago, when it was more common. Also might be able to find on your local classifieds. I bought one lowered and took it back to stock height when I replaced the struts. Handling suffered abit but still ok. I don't think it's worth it when you have worry about bumps and bent rims.
If done right, you can lower your car and not have issues. But for the most part, lowering a car puts more stress on other suspension parts, therefore decreasing the lifespan of those parts. Just the drawbacks of modding
Air intake you can build for $50 or under. Cut the mufflers out and put a 2 1/4 inch pipe in place. For like $200 you can get a solid 10hp and better sound.

You'd have to go for a custom turbo setup if you wanted those kinds of gains, which would be very costly and would take time as well. You're better off modding a turbo car rather than trying to extract that kind of power from a J series

I don't know too much about 4th gens, but you can do the same mods on this list. Vinyl wrap, LED lights, tint, etc. If you're on a budget, you just need to be creative or keep an eye out for deals
Could be cuz of sound in the video. Same resonator, the longer one. I'm completely satisfied with the sound. Loud enough for me. Your taste will vary. I'm sure you're looking for a more aggressive sound, which is fine. Everyone is different. I'm over the roudy exhausts lol

Triple door seals, a strip along the bottom of the doors, front, and rear edges. Just makes the car sound a lot more solid when you shut the doors.

Rear Sway bar is definitely needed in mine. I hit uphill corners at high speed speed and rear twitches around.

K&N panel filters work great and I’ve noticed my tl revs faster.
Do do the intake resonator delete too. Makes a huge difference in sound and gives a little more throttle response

Installing a lightweight pulley is also a pretty good (cheapish) mod when you're about to do the timing belt.

Depending on what you're going for, there's tons of vinyl shops and stores. I would just get it off amazon. Quality can vary, go by reviews
