- In this video we show you how we went about installing the REDARC Tow-Pro Elite V3 Brake Controller (EBRH-ACCV3-12) in a MY19 Isuzu MU-X using the REDARC Universal Wiring Harness Kit (TPWKIT-013) and Switch Insert (TPSI-006). The same principles apply to the Isuzu D-Max.

Mate your a top notch guy. Everything was explained clearly and matched what was shown. Have a great day 👍🏼
Glad it helped!
Great install guide. Don't forget to install the locking clip on that 4 pin molex plug.
Thanks for the tip!
Clear, logical instructions which could be used for many vehicles.
Cheers, thank you!
That was actually a very clear and comprehensive vid!
Will be very helpful for me when installing on my Dmax, just would have recommended some conduit / tubing to protect the wire underneath the car - but probably not essential
Glad it helped!
One of the best installation videos. Many thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
One end of the orange wire joins to the supplied connector at the rear of the vehicle. But where does the other end connect to?
Great instructional, very helpful for installing the exact same system in my own Mu-x. I noticed you have the reed switch in the trailer plug wired so that the reversing proximity warning sensors are disabled when reversing while towing. I have the same flat trailer socket but having some trouble working out how to connect the reed switch to the car wiring system, I couldn't find any hints or ideas online - can you offer any help with this?
Does it affect your car warranty or insurance if you DIY??? You explained the procedure well and anyone could follow it but there's that element of uncertainty about insurance forfeiture risk with DIY. Would like to do it myself.
How did you perforate the grommet in the firewall?
Possibly with a metal coat hanger...
Legend thanks!
Wer did the orange cable come from ?
Check the video at 2:09 and onwards. The orange cable is part of the REDARC Harness Kit.
AT A GUESS, the orange is there to make it easier for installers; as the 7-pin connector doesn't have room for multiple cables into a single terminal, which also makes it easier for DIYers. Instructurally, you'd need to jumper the brake light to the brake input: again, AT A GUESS.
@@NJSInstructional its there for the diode thats back up in the harness to stop 12v back feeding
