When I first saw Sentinel Prime betray the Autobots, I was kinda like, "Why do they keep making the Primes evil?" But after a doing a little bit of research on the other Primes from other shows and universes, I realized that the Primes werent as honorable as I thought they were. Megatronus and Liege Maximo fell to darkness and betrayed their brothers. Quintus Prime created the Quintessons. Prima, the Leader of the Primes, was a proud but arrogant warrior and had an indirect hand in alienating Megatronus. Most of the other Primes essentially isolated themselves in dimensional realms. I think really the only "good" Primes were; Alpha Trion, Nova Prime, Solus Prime, The Thirteenth, and Vector Prime. I know I'm referencing the Aligned Continuity, but the movies never really go into any detail on the individual Primes.
Alpha Trion was always good, in every single continuity. As for Nova Prime, depends on continuity. He fell into Unicron's corruption in Transformers Devastation.
Yeah the government of Cybertron was corrupt. They made Optimus a prime simply because he didn’t want to hurt them, but Megatron had the same beliefs. Because of this, they made a huge villain of Megatron.
Seeing Ratchet getting killed was heartbreaking. He was just trying to hide and purposely missed his shots at the humans just wanting to scare them away.
Humans vs Autobots. Autobots being disguised PR Wise as Deceptions. Which made no sense BC ppl recognized that Prime was one of the good guys, yet they have anti Optimus posters along the border zone of Chicago.
Couldn't he and the others just lied to lockdown? Even if he was gonna send some units there to confirm whether optimus was there, it'll still take some time unless he was still gonna kill them whether they tell him or not. And they may accidentally give away hideouts for their fellow autobots if he did.
Oh man truly. I couldn't believe what I had just seen and just started crying man. Same with Ironhide I was so hurt. Till this day those scenes still hit me hard they some of my fav characters in all of Trasformers
Sentinel prime is by far the most compelling villain of the bay series. There was a reasoning behind his madness. He wanted more than anything else the survival of his race, no matter the cost. His method is brutal and outright evil, but if we look at it from the cybertronian perspective, optimus and his crew are the real traitor since optimus would rather destroy his home planet to save an alien race. Sentinel also predicted AOE in saying that the humans only see the autobots as machines. The moment that they no longer need the autobots, they will become no more than junk yard metal in the eyes of humans.
Megatron in the first movie, felt absolutely badass, commanding, and scary. Sentinel Prime had a complexity to his character and Lockdown is a bounty hunter, but they felt more like just antagonists. Megatron, especially in movie 1, felt the most like a villain
For anyone who says that lockdown was the main villain, that isn’t true his mission was to get Optimus and not to kill him. Megatron was the villain while lockdown was a hit man just doing his job.
Attinger was the true villain of the movie, he would use any dirty method to capture the autobots and decepticons, all of it to keep the security of "its country", but that's another way of saying we consider everything foreign a menace, he started the hunt, and made the conflict worse, and he found a way to make it viable since he made a contract with Joshua to deliver the pieces of dead transformers for research and inventions, both didn't cared about anything but their goals, basically Attinger was like Charlotte mearing, but with the resources, contacts, and no fucks given to diplomacy to be able to erase the transformers from earth instead of offering them to leave like Charlotte mearing and Galloway did.
@@04liverydesign7 Yeahh man!!!! Attinger was honestly and awesome character. One of the best human villains in TF history imo. And the fact that he was played by Kelsey FUCKING Grammer was absolutely spectacular to see XD.
Fallen was the most powerful the manipulator of the war and had wasted potential.Sentinel was more calculating and had great skill in combat he almost completed his goal. Lockdown was mysterious and had superior weapons and was cold and ruthless. Megatron was a scary, cunning, relentless walking tank with great hand to hand combat skill and durability.Quintessa was a powerful space witch who could even subdue prime and was also calculating she should of had her backstory explored more.
@@darkfiretype5684 What if someone took the Bayverse literally and redid the whole thing with better writing. I would have had the fallen set up like Thanos because he was in a life support chair what if he was just gathering his strength this intier time and actually wanted the Allspark to give it back to him faster and that's why he had Megatron go after it also adding the fact it could heal Cybertron. I would have had the fallen act similar to Palpatine telling Megatron that the primes betrayed him that he only wanted to restore Cybertron but they choice other beings over there planet instead. And this manipulation would work even more when Sentinel choices Optimus as prime over him someone who didn't even want to be prime and focused on history and science.
I dont see how the fallen was the most powerful when with other villans Optimus needed help to beat when the fallen legit had help with megatron and still lost pretty easily
I mean... Judging by how Megatron BODIED Pptimus with ONE ARM in the last knight and the fact that in 2 he had an incredibly awkward, lopsided, and cumbersome body then in the 3rd he was critically injured and still recovering, I'd say he us among the most powerful antagonist. Let me explain. In the first movie we see just how powerful he is. Able to take on the Autobots by himself and then proceed to go toe-to-toe with a desperate Optimus and actually beat him. We see that despite his great size he is incredibly agile, quick on his feet, and extraordinarily well balanced as he tanks hits from Optimus Primes ion blaster and just pivots to tank the shot and wheels around onto his knee effortlessly. He was a POWERHOUSE! In the second movie he is revived and in a very lopsided, awkward and very heavy and unfamiliar body. How do I know this? Well it's shown in the movie. No there is no dialogue mention it, but there is dialogue that hints at a bot being aware of this fact and just compare his movements from the 1st movie and watch him in the second. Yes with every hit he still does a toke of damage and he still holds his own, but you can see when he moves he runs and looks like he's about to fall over. His punches and kicks are so awkward and slow rather than graceful and aggressive like in the first. Optimus even starts roasting him and his new body calling it "Usless junkyard crap." Not referring to Megatron as a whole but rather the fact that his awkward body is indeed crap and has put him at a severe disadvantage. As for the Fallen thing. You can tell just by looking at Megatrons body language that he does not enjoy sucking up to Megatronus, and the way that he still commands the Decepticons instead of letting the Fallen order them around does also hint at the fact that he doesn't intend on letting Megatronus stay "in charge." As for his line at the end of the film, again, based off his body language, he's more upset that Optimus won and stopped the Harvester than being upset over his "masters" death. If Megatron truly intended on the Fallen being the boss, he would have let the Fallen be the one calling the shots. Instead the Fallen just says something and Megatron is like "Right, got it. Kill Prime, great. I'm gonna go now and do it my way." I guarantee you that if he had his old body, he would have either killed Megatronus himself after letting him distract Optimus, or would have let Optimus kill him, then kill Optimus while he's weak. 3rd movie. Yeah he's faster and in a more balanced and less awkward body, but let me remind you that Megatron suffering from a severe injury and is not in any condition to be in an active fight. Hence why he didn't react to Optimus blatantly telling him at the end of the movie that he's about to kill him despite being given more than e ough tike to react. It's not that he didn't see it coming, it's that he was still recovering and was in no condition to fight a proper battle. 4th film. This si where he is fully healed from his injuries and is now renamed Galvatron. He is back into a large, powerful, agile, and durable body that is very similar to his first body, just not as durable or nearly as strong. Meaning he is right back into his comfort zone. And what does he do in the one fight he has with Optimus? That's right. He lays down the fuckin law! He looked evenly matched with Optimus in this body. Sadly we didn't see much of him after that. 5th film. Ohhhhh boy. We don't see much of him but what is there is enough for me to say, this is hands down the strongest he's ever been. This is the strongest we've ever seen Optimus without a flight suit, and yet at the end of the movie despite him fighting Bumblebee, Hound, Hot Rod, Crossbars, and Drift at the same time and getting Optimus slicing off his arm from behind, he still bodies the Autobots and then proceeds to fuck up Optimus despite only having one arm and Optimus getting the jump on him. The only reason why he loses is because Optimus caught him monologing. As for Quintessa. Like the Fallen, I highly doubt he was going to let her stay in charge for very long. By the way he acts way more independently than Optimus, it tells me that he's not mind controlled by her and is only listening to her so she can kill Unicron and restore cybertron and his army. I guarantee you that once she was done doing that, he would have absolutely killed her and took back his throne.
Agreed, I also think Lockdown shines better because of how objectively bad his movie was compared to DOTM imo, as he was largely the only redeemable factor of it. Whilst Sentinel’s big reveal as a traitor hit hard for surprise factor, having Lockdown kill Ratchet within the first 5 mins of the movie instilled fear of what he was capable of, and showcased his cold “just business” nature.
Not really. Aoe isn't "much worse" than dotm, and Lockdown isn't the only good thing there. The Dinobots, the story of humans betraying the Autobots, the less annoying humans, Cade not being just an annoying dude who just runs to every side without doing any shit, and the fact the Autobots are actually characters and have screen time with badass scenes. I prefer to watch Crosshairs saying shit than Leo and Simons
@@Lu1zF3l1pe it's unpopular opinion but I personally love AOE. It's honestly my second favourite in the series next to the first one. Not counting Bumblebee though, because I'm not sure if it's supposed to be in the sane continuity...
I’m probably in the minority here, but I really don’t think AOE is as bad as people make it out to be. Does it have problems? Sure! But it’s really not as bad as people have made it out to be, *especially* when compared to ROTF and TLK.
@@TF2Fan101 finally someone who doesn't treat rotf as a masterpiece! Everybody talks about this movie as if it was as good as 2 and 3 and better than 4 and 5
I have to go with Sentinel Prime because he was the only villain in the entire franchise that had enough of a personality and enough of a noticeable villain arc to be noteworthy.
Shatter and Dropkick are the MAIN antagonists of Bumblebee. You can’t just omit them because they are “normal” decepticons. They are the main villains of the movie
@@MrHAH-cd9ku kinda makes me wish this was about all transformer films and not just bay. We could’ve had G1 galvatron plus shatter and dropkick. Oh well, that’s what comments are for
The reason why the Fallen hates humanity was because he prioritises the survival of Cybertron and its inhabitants over other species and planets. He and the other primes in 13,000 BC built the star harvester on Earth before knowing that it actually has life. The other primes halted their project in order to let them flourish, but the Fallen wanted to continue anyways for the longevity of their species and was punished by his brothers. This why he dislikes humanity as they caused his banishment by his brother.
i never understand this the universe is one giants space with a lot of stars in it so why hes so grudgely when he cant kill this one when he can just u know "ok fine maybe tht one star we miss bfore brother u cool ????'
How about... Shockwave? I know, hear me out tho. He walks in, he steals a fuel cell or someshit. He says one word in English, which is audible. He leaves He comes back, His pet eats half the city, and he just vibes inside. He has the best death theme, and he ... Becomes blind for two minutes. What's not to love?
Sentinel Prime. He was as deceptive as a Decepticon, had a background story of him making a deal with Megatron, betrayed Autobots, killed Ironhide behind his back, almost won and got killed the same by Optimus. The line "You didn't betray me, you betrayed yourself" from Optimus still hits hard. The Fallen and Quintessa may have been powerful but they were underdeveloped characters. Lockdown was too cool to be killed off in the same movie he debuted, he was a wasted potential. Megatron became a joke after ROTF because he was weaker after each movie.
Megatron had a good reason to ne weaker after RoTF, at least in DoTM. He was still recovering from his injuries.due to his blow to the head he had to lean on his army and Sentinel more than his own power.
@@lucasmartin9069 He became an irrelevant background villain, a punching bag for Optimus who'd die and then come back in the next movie just to die again. In DOTM Sentinel felt more like a main villain than Megatron is.

I’m sorry but I disagree. And it’s such a shame how Michael bay transformer fans other than me seem to be convinced starscream is the only character accurate to his original cartoon self when he’s the furthest thing from it. For me, Sentinel wins when it comes to being a foil for Optimus and a meaningful villain, but the Fallen and Lockdown tie for fear factor. If the Fallen wasn't so old and weak that he needed his oxygen mask for any fight longer than a minute, he'd be the scariest. That teleport and magnetic power are frightening af. Lockdown and Fallen also tie for best soundtrack themes!
@@Lu1zF3l1pe The teleporting, the gravity manipulation, and the fact that he's one of the first Primes means that he probably has access to a lot of forbidden or lost secrets akin to the Matrix of Leadership and Energon Harvester. If The Fallen was in the prime of his life, he would easily be the most deadly threat in the series (first 3 movies at least). I mean, he's the og Decepticon! He manipulated the planet into turning on Sam to alienate and corner him as soon as he arrived on Earth. Megatron can't do any of the things the Fallen can do. Megatron is scary in the first movie because the Transformers as a whole are a new thing to the world. He's 'the worst there is'. But in RotF he's following the Fallen's plan, and he's barely a credible threat in DotM. And yes! The Fallen does have his own theme, literally called "The Fallen" if you want to look it up. 8:58 my thought for why sentinel went agro as he was revived was probably because he couldn't recognise optimus being in a human truck form. Back in cybertron, all transformers weren't in their disguise (earth) forms. If I were to meet my long, lost friend from my old school decades later,I obviously wouldn't attack them,I wouldn't recognise them at all. This could be what sentinel thought
@@Freddie6362 sentinel's body in the ark and his body on earth when he is revived are somewhat different in terms of appearance. You can compare the 2 if you want in your spare time
Sentinel Prime was my favorite as a kid and still is now. Leonard Nimoy adds much needed energy to the character and his devotion to Cybertron makes him compelling. He saw the eons of war as fruitless and opted to work with the Decepticons to end it all. It’s a shame these movies were such a mess cause there was some real potential to flesh him out more, say he tried to talk things out with Optimus and comes to respect humanity but still betrays them due to his loyalties. He’s too merciless which makes him too much like Megatron for my taste.
I read the novelization before the film came out, and I was shocked to see Ironhide killed by Sentinel. But the novel stated he took him out because next o Optimus, he would have give his plans trouble. Plus Sentinel was trying to keep his race, and planet a surviving chance. It's just he made the "hard decisions". To bad he couldn't find another solution. I rank Sentinel Prime, the #1 villain in the Bayformers.
I did not realise the thematic reasoning for Sentinel's double edged sword. Thanks for pointing it out! It made my day and just makes me like DOTM that much more.
Megatron was formidable as a villain, but loses some of his credibility as a villain by serving or working with the other villains in the Michael Bay films. The fallen was powerful, intimidating, and was shown to be the original decepticon. He seemed to be a bigger threat than Megatron. The fact that only a Prime could defeat him also raises his threat level, along the fact that the fallen is also a Prime. Sentinel Prime was more of a personal villain than a powerful one. Sentinel was formidable as a warrior and almost legitimately killed Optimus Prime if it wasn't for Megatron's interference. However, I believe that it was mainly because he knew Optimus Prime on a personal level. I don't think that Sentinel Prime was as powerful as the fallen, but was even more of a personal threat to Optimus Prime than even Megatron. Lockdown was a formidable threat to Optimus Prime and the autobots, but he ultimately served someone else, even if it was a paid job. He was definitely more ruthless than some of the other villains. Quintessa is arguably the most powerful enemy that Optimus Prime and the autobots have encountered, but she's also the villain we know the least about. I honestly think that the best overall villain in the franchise was the Fallen due to his influence on Megatron's path as a villain, and how he's arguably the second most powerful villain in the Michael Bay films.
@@terrancegeorge5721 yes, he is. He easily overwhelmed Optimus who is stronger than in the 2nd movie while The Fallen only managed to beat a newly-revived Optimus.
@@jamainegardner4193 Sentinel didn’t easily overwhelm Optimus it was extremely difficult and Optimus was holding back against Sentinel because he was his former master Sentinel didn’t hold back at all against Optimus and wanted him long dead if Optimus went blood thirsty against Sentinel like he did in Transformers 2 he’d have beaten Sentinel at one point in the Fight he had a clear shot at killing Sentinel and didn’t do it because he’s never killed a Autobot before let alone his Master who he viewed as a Father figure
@@jamainegardner4193 The Optimus that fought Sentinel only had his Battle Axe and Energon Blade he wasn’t as Powerful as Jetfire Optimus in any way whatsoever he’s much bigger stronger faster with powerful weaponry this Optimus would basically one shot Sentinel easily and as for The Fallen if you rewatch him he’s as Big as Jet Fire Optimus can teleport has Gravity manipulation and briefly overpowered Jetfire Optimus in Battle so The Fallen based off of size abilities and feats is Superior to Sentinel Prime and if we count the comics Sentinel stands even less of a chance as The Fallen can hop through different dimensions and can also grab some of the most powerful weapons to defeat a Opponent soloing multiple Primes
It should be noted I think that the version of the Fallen depicted in ROTF was at the time, the multiversal singular version of the character, meaning not only did he possess the feats of the character presented in the movie, but also those of all other incarnations of the Fallen from the character’s creation to about 2014 or 2015 in our universe, and making him a larger scale threat than initially perceived
Honestly, these movies were all a big blur to me at times. I loves revenge of the fallen as a kid, but honestly I think they all kinda suck. The cybertronians barely get any action whatsoever with the exception of movie 4, and there isn't much world building after that. In fact, there is a large ass gap between dotm and aoe, where Sam is gone, there are continually more autobots showing up which always confused me unless it was an allspark thing, and somehow there is a whole Whitwickey cult or something now in the last knight? The og show was very loony at times, yeah. But it's so rediculous that so much happens in between the movies and we don't have much explanation as to why it all happens, or what became of the ogs. That's just my opinion tho, I don't really keep up with all the plot and stuff, just put on the movies for nostalgia and stuff.
My favorite was Sentinal Prime. He wasn't trying to continue a war that destroyed his home, but rather would try to compromise with what he viewed as enemies in order to bring back his home. If this was done in Cybertrom, he would've been viewed as a true hero. However, it was his coldness on earth and his disassociation from his friend's lives on earth that dealt him the final blow. Like Prime said, "he betrayed himself". He crossed a line with his friends in order to reach his goals. Goals founded on fear and trauma of losing his home, and it is this trauma that motivated him. If only they made the transformers films a tv show, it might've have time to developed. Though I understand that the movies always try to cramp as much sexual bot-xplosions as possible. Smh
"Autobots, Decepticons. Like little children. Always fighting, making a mess out of the universe. Then I'VE got to clean it up!" This almost sounds like they were trying to write him as someone amoral with OCD. Not caring about ideals, but just wanting stuff to be nice and tidy. That sounds like a very interesting kind of villain. Someone who just doesn't give the slightest care about the political conflicts between the two sides, just viewing War as messy and wasteful. Could've been a REALLY interesting character if they took him in that direction. I've not seen AoE, but presumably that's NOT how they took him
Yo, rotf gave us one good thing. Possibly the only cool battle scene in the entire series, one that doesn't end nearly instantly. The forest battle scene.
i was obsessed with the michael bay movies in middle school and back in the day there was basically no good transformers content. that being said,i loved this video! very nice work!
1:09was playing TF2 while this was playing in the background and a heavy had done the finger gun taunt towards a spy the exact same moment meg's shot Optimus. But I got to admit this was an amazing video!
Everything about Lockdown is perfection. His theme is amazing, his presence is felt rather or not he's on screen, he's a genuine threat to Optimus that doesn't go down after 2 minutes of fighting like the Fallen and Quintessa, and he's just a total badass.
Honestly, the Fallen getting destroyed by Optimus like that was so stupid and unrealistic, even if he was weak and optimus was powered by Jetfire. The only realistic ending I could see with the autobots winning is if the Fallen got banished again like what the primes did to him. And Megatron was even worse getting beat up like that. I wish we got more individual knowledge on each of the primes such as their names and would have been so cool seeing a fully powered Megatronus.
Nah I disagree the fallen wasn’t willing to enact his plan knowing that Optimus was there. I don’t think it’s fear of him but it was definitely concern
Megatron was weak and made of crap. There is nothing unrealistic about him getting destroyed by an Optimus way bigger than him. Jetpower Optimus towers Megatron, and the only thing Megatron had before was more brute force than Optimus, and he didn't have it anymore
Theirs many abilities he didn’t use for some reason like his Gravity Manipulation that lifted many Tanks and created a Orbiting Sphere of Rocks theirs a Ton more abilities that are completely missing in the film that were in the Comics
@@marcelxd1633 teleporting allows you to instantly dodge attacks as long as there is any space, even if the space is relatively small. i liked your tier list of "which is the best series of transformes movies" telling all good and bad aspects and even what is the purpose of they want to achieve.( but unfortunolly was ruined by michael bay). for me in the best villain is lockdown. becaus how he think and how he does to make everthing to hunt optimus. sentinel i put him with the best personalitiy and character.
Watching Sentinel shoot iron hide in the back "almost" made me cry as a kid. He was my 3 favorite transformer behind Optimus and Bee. And boom... I did not expect that watching this in theaters at the age of 8, growing up with the franchise. Yes watching Optimus die in number 2 made me literally cry hysterically..🤣🤣🤣
Is this a trick question and the answer is Michael Bay himself for somehow making all of his Transformers films unwatchably bad? I'll give him some credit for getting Peter Cullen, Frank Welker & Leonard Nimoy back for voicing duties, but that's about it. Side Note:- I'm aware some people actually like the bayverse transformer films, and if you do sorry for sh**ting on them so much, but as a fan since the original cartoons I did actively try my best to enjoy these films. I really did try. Several times, I tried to watch them. Each time i'd reach a breaking point and change channel, thinking i'm so glad I didn't pay to see this in a cinema.
I've always been impressed how in such a trainwreck movie as 4, they managed to make a character as good and cool as Lockdown. One other thing you could have mentioned was the visual design. The eldritch egyptian alien design for the Fallen made him quite distinguishable from the standard over the top early Bay movies designs. Sentinel Prime's color really makes him stick out. And with the double sword, shield, wings, he truly looks like a honored hero. Making his betrayal more uncanny and to an extend disturbing, as he visually doesn't look like a bad guy. The human features on his face greatly helped to convay his emotions. Lockdown is entirely pragmatic in design, to the point of lacking all the flair Bay movies are known for. I was really disappointed the first time I saw him, thinking no way someone so boring looking could be anything more than a grunt. Yet it perfectly fits his character. Also, having probably the most human face of all Bay transformers (except Quintessa) goes a long way to express his demeanor. Lockdown is the only alien character in those movies, where I actively watch only his eyes. Great video anyway. We should give credit to anything good, even in the swamp that are Bay movies.
Why is it that cool villains with motives used double-bladed weapons? Thanos and Sentinel Prime use this, Darth Maul uses one albeit it was a lightsaber.
Love how Optimus and Sentinel have zhe heart to heart and dont want to kill each other and then all of a sudden optimus just decides to fucking execute his helpless begging defeated enemy out of no where like holy shit what?
The fact that shockwave was suppose to be the main villain of dark of the moon makes me sad that he was replaced by sentinel (don’t get me wrong he was a good villain) but shockwave deserved more than 3 minutes
a double edged sword is a single blade that is sharp on both sides, the side facing the enemy and the side facing yourself, thats not what sentinel has
Sentinel definitely the most compelling out of all the movies with his reasons to betray the autobots and how much of a gut punch it was. Though Megatron in the first movie is the most intimidating as he was built up throughout the film to be a force to be reckoned with, and in the third act he lives up to it being a powerhouse that stole the spotlight in every scene
I'm so confused, the fallen said only a prime can defeat him, but Jetfire said the fallen is stronger then his brothers, yet Megatron Easily bested Optimus in the first movie but can't overthrow the fallen? Can someone help me out?
As the better villain I say Lockdown but the better character is Sentinel Prime. I am curious though, who would win, Lockdown or Sentinel Prime in a battle?
I wish they kept sentinel prime a good guy in TF3 and made Shockwave the main villian. Shockwave was the greatest waste of potential in the entire transformers franchise.
I never noticed the double-edged sword Sentinel thing. That was really cool and interesting, but was that just an observation that you made or was it actually confirmed ?
The Fallen had the perfect opportunity to show everyone how powerful he is, but unfortunately never managed to get very far since he was outclassed by a powered up Optimus Prime. Sentinel came the closest to achieving his intended goal, but unfortunately he overlooked the fact that Megatron was not one to be underestimated so easily during the moment where he viciously attacked Sentinel when he least expected it.

Hello trans
Sentinel Prime would be N.1 for a point
I'm a fan of your awesome channel. "Sentinel prick"
Hey, I love your channel. Thank you for doing so much for the trans community
Nova was actually a very evil prime and would actually wipe out planets that weren’t cybertronian and was a war monger
you forgot nexus
Alpha Trion was always good, in every single continuity. As for Nova Prime, depends on continuity. He fell into Unicron's corruption in Transformers Devastation.
Nova Prime is literally hitler but ok.
Yea he was one of my favorites I still can't bring my self to watch his scenes in T4 and I could feel Optimus's rage when he found out what happened
Humans vs Autobots. Autobots being disguised PR Wise as Deceptions.
Which made no sense BC ppl recognized that Prime was one of the good guys, yet they have anti Optimus posters along the border zone of Chicago.
I know man I literally felt tears falling from my eyes the first time I seen it!!
He is more compelling but lockdown is way more badass.
@@jackreynolds3465 lockdown is more badass but sentnel prime character was better written

@@a.janimationslab2330 nahhh sentinel Prime was a fucking badass warrior
Megatron in the first movie, felt absolutely badass, commanding, and scary.
Sentinel Prime had a complexity to his character and Lockdown is a bounty hunter, but they felt more like just antagonists. Megatron, especially in movie 1, felt the most like a villain
For anyone who says that lockdown was the main villain, that isn’t true his mission was to get Optimus and not to kill him. Megatron was the villain while lockdown was a hit man just doing his job.
Galvatron*
Not really. It's more like the humans were the real villains, they caused Galvatron and aligned with Lockdown
Cap. Lockdown is the Main villain and that is a fact
I feel like had the movie gotten a better writing team and it's original length restored, we could've gotten a better quintessa backstory
@@IGC-340 The Fallen lost because of Prime's asspull Jetfire combo. The Fallen is the most powerful villain arguably.

In ROFT Megatron was weak was cause he wasn't used to his new body. He never got practice with his giant cannon and tiny arm.
How would be the Fallen any scary? He doesn't arrive near to tf1 Megs
And does the Fallen have a soundtrack lol?
@@Lu1zF3l1pe The teleporting, the gravity manipulation, and the fact that he's one of the first Primes means that he probably has access to a lot of forbidden or lost secrets akin to the Matrix of Leadership and Energon Harvester.

Sentinel is the strongest of the villains but Lockdown I rank above him for being just a bit cooler. He's easily the saving grace of AOE.

Amazing video, Never saw the fallen in the corner of the screen before, surprised me. Keep up the great work!
Of course this could also make the movie version even more of a letdown depending on your point of view
Great Video, love the Gears of War music in the background as well.
Great vid man. Would love a Soundwave vid
Then I'VE got to clean it up!"
This almost sounds like they were trying to write him as someone amoral with OCD. I've not seen AoE, but presumably that's NOT how they took him
The Fallen: The most badass
Sentinel Prime: The better written
Lockdown: The better portrayed
I’ll go with this
@@WhiteDragonXXX alr
just a shame the fallen only had like 5 minutes of screen time
@@Robotnikegg we did see a lot of what he can do
Recently found out that the only reason for ironhides death in dotm was not to confuse "kids" if he returned in prime instead of bulkhead
Underrated. All I have to say for everyone to understand how good this video is, This is top tier content
Closing with Lockdown's theme, epic!
Really great put together video!! Great job!!!
good video. ending with lockdowns theme... masterpiece
megatron making a deal with sentinel prime does make megatron even better as he would have had a countermeasure if the fallen tried to take over
Yo, rotf gave us one good thing.
Possibly the only cool battle scene in the entire series, one that doesn't end nearly instantly.
The forest battle scene.
''youre so weak.'' as he literally has to come from behind after getting decimated in a 3v1
sounds like any fight in gta or cod warzone
Definitely Lockdown. I get chills every time I see him.
Gotta love how these once despised movies are now being treated as peak cinema due to the current state of Hollywood
The Megatron from the first film. Cause he was actually a threat.
Imagine that version of Megatron and the Fallen fighting together 😮
i was obsessed with the michael bay movies in middle school and back in the day there was basically no good transformers content. that being said,i loved this video! very nice work!
1:09was playing TF2 while this was playing in the background and a heavy had done the finger gun taunt towards a spy the exact same moment meg's shot Optimus. But I got to admit this was an amazing video!
Looking forward to the Meg's vid keep up the good work
0:51
Megatron should’ve said
“The only bitch I see here is you” and just throws her away or smth
💀💀💀💀💀
Ratchets death was pretty sad for me since he was one of the few good characters in the bay films. Wish her could've survived the series.
* He*
Everything about Lockdown is perfection.
Get banished again so he can try that again no Optimus was right to put him down
Megatron was weak and made of crap. There is nothing unrealistic about him getting destroyed by an Optimus way bigger than him. Jetpower Optimus towers Megatron, and the only thing Megatron had before was more brute force than Optimus, and he didn't have it anymore
Really enjoyed this video!
lockdown was cool, he deserved a better film I think
Ratchet: gets shot in the chest
Also Ratchet: *Ā*
Well, he got shot from outer skin, but optimus get Stabbed and shot at the same time
Did the fallen just forget about his teleportation while fighting Optimus or some shit
yeah
Theirs many abilities he didn’t use for some reason like his Gravity Manipulation that lifted many Tanks and created a Orbiting Sphere of Rocks theirs a Ton more abilities that are completely missing in the film that were in the Comics
What brings teleporting in a little fight area
@@marcelxd1633 teleporting allows you to instantly dodge attacks as long as there is any space, even if the space is relatively small.
A large amount of close combat boils down to positioning, and teleportation is FREE positioning, meaning you can ALWAYS be in an advantageous stance compared to your opponent.
i liked your tier list of "which is the best series of transformes movies" telling all good and bad aspects and even what is the purpose of they want to achieve.( but unfortunolly was ruined by michael bay).
for me in the best villain is lockdown. becaus how he think and how he does to make everthing to hunt optimus.
sentinel i put him with the best personalitiy and character.
The others were more complex and powerful but nobody was the same kind of menace that megatron was in 2007.
13:38 probably the most Badass moment of the whole bay franchise
The gears of war song goes hard great vid by the way👍
Great video, I would highly recommend to watch more of your audio levels (both in voice over, and footage).
16:54 This was the funniest moment of the entire video.
Hearing the Gears of War soundtrack, tears to a mans eyes.
sentinel just passed up the most broken plot armour when optimus passed him it
Is this a trick question and the answer is Michael Bay himself for somehow making all of his Transformers films unwatchably bad?
I'll give him some credit for getting Peter Cullen, Frank Welker & Leonard Nimoy back for voicing duties, but that's about it.
Side Note:- I'm aware some people actually like the bayverse transformer films, and if you do sorry for sh**ting on them so much, but as a fan since the original cartoons I did actively try my best to enjoy these films. I really did try. Several times, I tried to watch them. Each time i'd reach a breaking point and change channel, thinking i'm so glad I didn't pay to see this in a cinema.
If I could be any transformer from the whole franchise I’d pick lockdown he’s just cool. Doesn’t mean I’m still not salty on how ratchet died
I love your videos, they are so well made and I think if you just get a better mic, these would be ten out of ten. Keep it up
I've always been impressed how in such a trainwreck movie as 4, they managed to make a character as good and cool as Lockdown.
The fallen is like my dad he goes and gets the milk and then comes back when I win the lottery
Lockdown was the most badass villain.
Why is it that cool villains with motives used double-bladed weapons? Thanos and Sentinel Prime use this, Darth Maul uses one albeit it was a lightsaber.
fallen didn't adjust his trajectory he just using the speed impact while his flying plus the teleportation impact making it more devastating
I don't blame you for showing the moment probably my best favorite scene
Soundwave was given a prittey shittey role in the bay films
Lockdown saved Transformers 4 single handedly
I have a saying too. "Sometimes a kick ass "theme" is all you "need" to breakdown a primes self-esteem"
I noticed the Fall of cybertron theme and I was hit with a wave of nostalgia
For me lockdown is the best live action villain in Transformers movie , he's the predator of Transformers
Michael Bay was the most notable villain in the Transformers movies
Lockdown 100% he was actually intimidating and chilling while also intimidatingly powerful
Love how Optimus and Sentinel have zhe heart to heart and dont want to kill each other and then all of a sudden optimus just decides to fucking execute his helpless begging defeated enemy out of no where like holy shit what?
Short answer, Micheal Bay!
14:20 That moment do be the GOAT from the Bayflicks
The fact that shockwave was suppose to be the main villain of dark of the moon makes me sad that he was replaced by sentinel (don’t get me wrong he was a good villain) but shockwave deserved more than 3 minutes
a double edged sword is a single blade that is sharp on both sides, the side facing the enemy and the side facing yourself, thats not what sentinel has
My boy referenced halo? Instant sub
Love the gears of war 3 music in the background
I'm so confused, the fallen said only a prime can defeat him, but Jetfire said the fallen is stronger then his brothers, yet Megatron Easily bested Optimus in the first movie but can't overthrow the fallen? Can someone help me out?
Splatoon reference on a transformers video 👀 you've got my sub
woomy
Lockdown was the best. He was intriguing
As the better villain I say Lockdown but the better character is Sentinel Prime. I am curious though, who would win, Lockdown or Sentinel Prime in a battle?
Sentinel should kinda stomp in close ranged combat he’s Bigger and his Weaponry is Superior and Dangerous Lockdown would stomp Sentinel long range tho
Ez win for lockdown 🔥
@@Mr_Nobody_18 I don't know
I wish they kept sentinel prime a good guy in TF3 and made Shockwave the main villian.
