The fact that people like Paul are walking around on this earth is such a good thing. We’re in a epidemic of not connecting with nature and the word should be spread. He would walk down the sidewalk in the middle of the day with a smile on his face and it looked like he was pretending to be someone’s pet dog. Far as I know that coyote lived in that patch of kudzu for several years even raised couple pups and people never noticed a wild coyote living near the beach in a prominent neighborhood. That’s how smart they are. People thought it was a domestic dog off its leash. Wild shit.

There's something off with Paul. Some other comment pointed out that he's a great storyteller and that clicked for me. To me it seems like he gets uncomfortable when the conversation isn't flowing like a movie or book narrative. I wasn't thinking that was enough to cast doubt on him, but then there's things he says like at 1:27:40
On Lex Fridman's podcast he said that the child laid it out for them and the tribe was like normal people, living their lives. Now here he says that people haven't been able to get anything at all out off the child.
I'm not saying he's lying about everything, Lex went to the amazon with him and Paul clearly does all the things he says he does. But maybe some of the stories may be a little exaggerated.
Though if I had a cause to protect the rainforest and it was half as difficult as he says, I'd probably lie a bit too if it was to bring public attention to it.
