What is Beirut when women blossom? ماذا لو زهَّرَتِ المرأةُ في بيروتِنا؟

The Zovighian Public Office (ZPO) has released a new cultural creation dedicated to Beirut and Lebanon at the four-year mark of the Beirut Explosion of August 4, 2020. Co-created by illustrator and artist Noémie Honein and ZPO Founder Lynn Zovighian, the art piece presents a re-imagined Beirut rebuilt, recovered, and thriving, through the eyes and needs of women.
“What is Beirut when women blossom?” is both the title of the piece and the strategic question that this cultural creation sought to answer.
The piece is also accompanied by a video production that features a poem, authored by Lynn Zovighian, capturing the rhythm and hidden messages of Honein’s imaginative work. The “Lebanese Dance (Dabke)” medley arranged by Edward Torikian and performed by the Fayha National Choir at the inaugural concert of “Giving Voice to Music” in 2023 offers viewers an uplifting and grounding multi-sensory experience.

أطلق المكتب العام لزوفيكيان عملًا ثقافيًا جديدًا مخصصًا لبيروت ولبنان بمناسبة الذكرى الرابعة لانفجار بيروت في 4 أغسطس 2020. العمل، الذي شاركت في إنشائه الرسامة والفنانة نعومة حنين ومؤسسة المكتب العام لزوفيكيان لين زوفيكيان، يعرض بيروت كمدينة أعيد بناؤها ومزدهرة، من وجهة نظر واحتياجات النساء.
” ماذا لو زهَّرَتِ المرأةُ في بيروتِنا؟“ هو عنوان العمل والسؤال الاستراتيجي الذي سعى هذا الإبداع الثقافي للإجابة عليه. العمل مصحوب أيضًا بإنتاج فيديو يحتوي على قصيدة من تأليف لين زوفيكيان، تلتقط إيقاع ورسائل حنين الخفية في عملها الإبداعي.
مزيج ”الرقص اللبناني (الدبكة “( الذي نظمه إدوارد طريقين وأداء كورال الفيحاء الوطني في الحفل الافتتاحي لمبادرة ”إعطاء الصوت للموسيقى“ في 2023 يوفر للمشاهدين تجربة حسية متعددة تجمع بين الإلهام والتأمل.
