I like to imagine that the reason tell your tale seemed far more random and crazy compared to make your mark and the movie, comes down to them just being the mane 6 retelling stories. You can say they’re quite literally “telling their tale” but sometimes they either exaggerate or get some details wrong, making it sounds more crazy than it actually was.

But in this case, I watched the recent episodes (because I wasn’t in the fanbase until I finished my first year of high school) just to cope with the dysfunction of me getting constantly bullied from high school. And the total amount of bullying put me in a slightly dark time where I just wanted to switch schools. But when Season two, episode thirteen was released on the last day of school, I was *OBSESSED* with My Little Pony as a whole. But now with G5 suddenly ending, it’ll maybe put me in the same time where I was before like I mentioned.

@@MrVectorMV I really like Tell Your Tale, but I feel it is held back by its pacing at times, the art style just being off-putting (Mostly just at first glance), and Season 1 absolutely had some growing pains. Mainly some characters weren't done nearly as much justice as they would be given in Season 2 (Izzy, Sparky, and especially Posey), and we got a handful of pretty shitty episodes. Sparky's Sick is NOT the worst at all; it's just aight. Pippsqueaks Forever is what I'd consider the worst episode across the generation as a whole. But what it gets right, it can get pretty damn right. Misty is my favorite character, both when she was an antagonist (A very fun one) and when she isn't, getting some of the better and best episodes focused on reconnecting with family and gradual healing from trauma. Posey is my second favorite, originally out of sympathy for her abuse, now for her development and treatment like an actual character going from one with limited sociality to getting a great understanding of friendship. And she and Misty are probably the most relatable to me. Season 2 is where it really peaked in terms of quality overall. But even so, I'd consider Make Your Mark the overall better show. For while it has some bad episodes of its own, its bumps in the road aren't as frequent as they were for Tell Your Tale Season 1, on top of a lot of other great overall aspects to it.

I wished that MLP:Tell Your Tales Season 2 could continue a little longer because I would like to see the Ponies learn the truth about Allura and decided to help her get back home to reunited with her brother unfortunately it has been revealed that the last episode will come out on October 17th which means after that won't be anymore of MLP: Tell Your Tales Series anymore which is a biggest disappointment because I really hate cliffhangers.
Me too. Earlier, I sent an email to Hasbro explaining in full detail how disappointed and devastated we feel about their choice to cancel the show. Maybe they’ll feel bad for us after seeing it, and they’ll regret canceling it and then allow it to continue.
I am in total agreement about the songs being one of the best things about G5 MV! Every one of the shows songs in G5 are absolute bangers! However, I must admit that the fact that pretty much every song in G5 is a pop song is a little off putting. I mean I can understand the reason why they are, Is because one of the members of the gens main cast is literally a pop star, But even so that doesn't mean literally every song has to be a pop song. I mean after all. One of the many things that made the songs from MLP G4 so great, Is that they didn't stick to just one specific genre of music. That's why FIM had a wide variety of songs, Because they allowed Daniel Ingram to experiment. Unlike in G5, Where they insist on just using the repetitive pattern with just one specific musical genre. Don't get me wrong, I still think the songs in G5 are amazing I'm just pointing out that one particular flaw.
Well. G5 is a modern setting. So I expect less of the classical genres and more of what you hear in radio. BUT, g5 have different genres also: reggeton, punk rock, pop, edm. Etc.

It's a shame that it's all over. Season 2 was a marked improvement over Season 1, and they just cut it off halfway through. I didn't love G5, but it did have potential, and it's sad to see that that potential will never be realized.
The literal only two reasons I have any trouble giving G5 a chance is 1. I have autism, and one of my symptoms is "having special interests" (If you've ever met someone who made their favorite thing their entire personality, that's literally just me but with no control over what that thing is) and at the time G5 came out and DEVOURED the mlp corner of the Internet, G4 was my main special interest, and I'm still kinda mad about it- and 2. I grew up on G4. Just as I have issues with modern CandyLand, because it feels like no one cares about my childhood anymore and will simply force it into modern standards for ✨💸DA MONEY💸✨, I have issues with G5 because it changed so much about a series I loved, and for a moment felt more like a cash grab than an actual take on a piece of media I loved dearly. I'll be able to give it a chance someday, I just need a moment to stop being a deer in headlights about it first lmao

Currently, I probably missed out on a significant chuck of season 1, didn't see the special and didn't watch season 2 yet. I could only base on how you describe it but I'd say it deals with the lore better than MYM. Oh, and neither Hitch's chin nor the art style bother me anymore lmao brb saving the special for watch later
