Press the M button while ur on the take a photo page then you will see a video camera icon on the top left corner of the screen so next you click on the take photo button
This is the most un-user friendly device I have ever encountered. Nothing intuitive about it, it's a horrible product. Returning this back to the store.

I got the video. It is not a rechargeable battery. You got to put new triple a batteries, 2.
