His "American" is good, but not sure I would call it a "southern drawl." I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. It's not as thick as the deep South, but it's quite distinguishable. The actors on the show "Nashville" tried hard, but it's not that easy unless you're in it. We moved to Canada years ago. Here they remark on my southern accent. When I go home they kid me about my Canadian accent. I guess it's whatever you're immersed in. Rick isn't quite "Texan" in his accent or lingo, but he's pretty close .... much better than some out there. Also, I find it pretty amazing when a Brit/Aussie/Kiwi/etc. can have a thick accent, but when they sing they can turn on their "American."
as Dean Winchester said "Once a wise man told me. 'Family don't end in blood.' But it doesn't start there either. Family cares about you. Not what you can do for them. Family is there for the good, bad, all of it. They got your back. Even when it hurts. That's family."
She is Shane's daughter. I don't care what anyone says, both Rick and Lori acted like assholes when they first found out Lori was pregnant. Both of them knew she was Shane's daughter but they didn't even let Shane do something for his daughter, they didn't even let him talk about her. They acted like Shane was doing something bad, being asshole but in fact they were the real assholes, especially Lori.
When you really think about it, it’s kinda crazy that Lori slept with shane probably only a few weeks after Rick was “Dead”. Bc he was in a coma for a month when everything happened
It is so heartfelt that Rick opened up to Michonne about Judith's biological parents and her real identity. It feels wonderful that Rick accepts Judith for who she is. Rick treats Judith as if like Judith was his "Prized possession" but Rick definitely values Judith. Regardless the fact that they weren't biologically related but nevertheless, Judith knows that Rick is her father so that's why she still expressed her unconditional love for Rick even if she didn't got the chance to see Rick when she grows up. Judith was still hoping to see Rick cause she misses him a lot. Rick claimed that he truly loves Judith and Judith loves Rick in return so it turns out that they had grown an attachment with each other so that's what i love about them.
That's more sad when you understand that he love Judith not because it's his daughter, but because she is Shane's daughter AND he want to keep his old friend, from before he get mad, next to him
@@TKRAYKATSI’d say it’s more about Lori, considering Lori lost her life giving birth to Judith, and he still seemed to care about Lori a lot even after she cheated, it just seems more like Lori than Shane, also regardless of whose Judith is, she was a baby both of whom’s parents were dead, Rick had no choice but to love and care for her.
@@thedecipher346 Then you clearly don't understand the point of what the show is telling you. Shane being Rick's friend for a long time betrayed Rick sleeping with his wife after Rick being supposedly "dead" for a month. Meanwhile being Daryl's best friend in the apocalypse Rick was "dead" for 7 years and Daryl never hooked up with Rick's wife Michonne. The show is showing because of the apocalypse, Rick found a better wife and best friend. Also don't response saying "sHaNe AnD lOrI tHoUgHt RiCk wAs dEaD" well guess what buddy, Daryl and Michonne thought Rick was dead for 7 years and never hooked up with each other they still mourned for Rick while Shane and Lori didn't mourn, they just hooked up in a month. The only person who mourn for Rick in the beginning of the apocalypse was Carl. So Daryl is the better brother than Shane.
@@TheRealRickGrimes True, and in the comics, Lori and Shane sleep together knowing Rick wasn't dead. Lori feels all guilty and like crap, which she should. Not long after Rick is reunited with his family, Shane tries to kill him and Carl shoots him to protect his dad. Shane was a POS in the comics, and in the show, too. I'm pretty sure he coveted Rick's life (it's hinted) and what backs that is him hooking up with his brother's wife almost immediately. Rick and Daryl both had "brothers" their entire lives, brothers that weren't the best. The amount of years doesn't matter, it's what you do that matters. Rick and Daryl were there for each other more, believed in each other, and supported each other, way more than their "brothers" ever did. And you're right, Daryl never tried to take Rick's woman nor his children. He protected them like a true brother. Michonne is also a better woman, and better wife than Lori ever was, too.
We all know how shane loves rick and his family imagine taking care your best friend family from the danger without any hesitation this is a form of loyalty and love.
I liked how in the show they stretched out the drama between Rick and Shane for like two whole seasons but in the comic, Rick catches on like almost instantly and is like "Did you fuck my wife?!?!" 😂

That pain in his voice…there’s some love in there but there’s way more pain. I know he’s just a character in a show based off a character in a graphic novel but…what a man.
@@stelenainfinitythey were both the problem and to deny it shows you didn’t pay attention. Shane was absolutely mad and descended into craziness but Lori wasn’t particularly innocent by any means. He wanted to leave and he was going to, she told him to stay knowing his obsession with her. Then when they found out she was pregnant she knew the baby was Shane’s and refused to even let him father his own child. Then when Shane was finally moving on and doing better she pulls him aside to tell him what they had was real which made him fully snap.
The apocalypse simply brought out the hidden, darker side in Shane. It's already in him, regardless of whether Lori existed or not. Vice versa the apocalypse also turned Eugene and Gabe into courageous people, even though they were complete cowards during peaceful times.
this is one of my favourite scenes. the importance of found family is one of the best aspects of the show in my opinion at least. especially in the later seasons, with Gracie and Adam
Well technically Shane was the leader that formed the group that Rick eventually found. And Shane decided to share the responsibility with Rick. Then Rick started to become at the forefront do to all those they followed after the fact, coming to him during conversations. To later try and faze Shane out of decision making.
Shane was more on point and saw the world for what it had become. Rick was still trying to wrap his head around the morality of having to kill people to stay safe. Later versions of rick and Shane would have had more common ground to operate on.
@@Mikehowarth1988 yeah Rick literally turned into the same type of person Shane was the person he always preached about not turning into and gave Shane hell for, that's why when you look back killing off Shane seems so pointless due to the fact he would have fit in almost perfectly in later seasons (other than his obsession with Lori) which makes it very interesting how things would have played out when Lori died had Shane not been killed, either way i think every TWD fan agrees on 1 thing Lori is one of the worst characters in the entire show.
She may not be his biologically but she’s definitely his. I’m adopted and my mom would always say “I can’t take away from your birth mom giving you life & I love her just like I love you (it was an open adoption so everyone knows each other) but me and your dad are your real parents because we’re the ones who take care of you and give you love” so I always acknowledge the difference in biological parents and “real” parents. Rick is without a doubt Judith’s real father ❤
Mannnn I hate Lori so much. She ruined everything. A brother like friendship, years of bonding and trust and she even ruined every dialogue that included lines for her, which half the time was telling someone that “it’s not your call”
Imagine the badass group of Rick, Shane, Darryl n his older brother , Morgan, Glen, Michonne, Caroll, Carl, and Maggie if they stayed together then this show would have still been really good like the first 4 to 5 seasons.
Rick kinda teaches us how to face every situation (sometimes stretched to its highest magnitude, like being cheated on during a zombie apocalypse) like a real man. He handled everything perfectly. It's a great feat to tame a beast like Daryl. Dangerous, yet useful beast. Jeez Rick is one hell of a leader.
Oh no, I feel so sorry for Rick that he has to be through like that. I know what it's like to be betrayed by your best friend who ends up someone’s relationship and I get the feeling.
The issue was both Shane and Lori. He was so obsessed with her, and she didn’t know how to handle the situation. As soon as Rick came back she practically pretend Shane didn’t exist, and even told him to leave her and carols sight and never be apart of none of their lives and to forget that the baby is his and that he will never be apart of the babies life and then having times where she wants him around, the immediate dismissal of everything and then having times where she wants him to be around it just made his mind more messed up than it already was going. And from the actors perspective he believes in his insanity he saw clarity that he was the weak link and didn’t want to get anyone he loved killed so he let Rick kill him to make Rick stronger and to overall give the family and the new ones coming a better chance. Which shows in the rick and Shane convo later season when rick is fading in and out
@@stelenainfinitynah lmao I understand Lori wanting to end things with Shane obviously but the way she did it was beyond awful he didn’t do anything wrong at that point and she took all of her guilt and grief unjustifiably out on him acting like he lied to her when he had no reason to believe Rick would even wake up much less get out of the hospital and find them
Naw rick had a hidden weapon he was gonna murder Rick to be with Lori I liked Shane too he would've been great thru the whole series and not died sucked but he got greedy
The drama between Lori, Rick and Shane was basically the opening game to Saw: The Final Chapter where the girl is suspended above while the two guys pushed the saws towards each other to stay alive and win her but then made the smart choice to just let her die 😂

They said if Shane didn't die, him and Rick would make the strongest duo. But they forget that Shane's death was one of the biggest turning point of Rick beside Lori and Hershel. Without him dead, we wouldn't get to see Rick became badass
I hope they make Judith grow up and have some of Shane’s crazy type of thought where she don’t give af about anything and kills anyone who disagrees with her. She finna have a badass character arc 🔥

Man, this show has been with me for a long time.

no matter what she will always be rick's daughter, you don't have to share dna to be family
Biologically you do though
Rick will always care for her, love her, but that is Shane’s daughter.
Exactly,

= Family.
If anything Judith is the closest to being his than anyone else that's alive.
as Dean Winchester said
"Once a wise man told me.
"His name was SHANE"
Judith truly is a representation of Lori’s beauty, Michonne’s empathy, Rick’s leadership and Shane’s endurance. Great combinations all around.

@@twd_thomasswords instead of acronyms is way more meaningful... just sayin..

Big facts
💖💖He is a real Man and a real Father! 💖💖
Damn Rick really has nothing left from before
That's more sad when you understand that he love Judith not because it's his daughter, but because she is Shane's daughter AND he want to keep his old friend, from before he get mad, next to him
Naw, that’s not it at all.
Umm maybe also the fact that she’s ultimately Lori’s daughter??
@@AngieNicole-em1kp Well, he know it's Shane's daughter, so it could make sense
@@TKRAYKATSand because she's carl's sister
@@TKRAYKATSI’d say it’s more about Lori, considering Lori lost her life giving birth to Judith, and he still seemed to care about Lori a lot even after she cheated, it just seems more like Lori than Shane, also regardless of whose Judith is, she was a baby both of whom’s parents were dead, Rick had no choice but to love and care for her.
He ain't just your friend, he's your brother
Nope because he realized Daryl is his true brother
@@TheRealRickGrimes But Shane was his brother long before they knew each other since high school and Daryl is only his brother cuz of the apocalypse
@@TheRealRickGrimes Bro you were supposed to only answer, not killing him with Arguments 💀
Andy is one of the greatest actors. The man is so convincing, and you feel his emotion
No wonder why lori is the most hated character in twd series and michonne is a good mother figure for carl and shes beloved by fans
Yea Rick In the book dont out up with that shit he went back and shot him again later
Rick says in season 2 that he “figured it out pretty quick” he just didn’t speak on it til later
"His name was Frank Castle.."
Him playing shane actually made me say way before punisher that he could play the role of frank castle. I always loved the comments and was telling my ex at the time he would be absolutely perfect to play him. Lord was i right. Hes shane on demon time 24/7 and its amazing
"and they used to call him 'The Punisher.'"
That pain in his voice…there’s some love in there but there’s way more pain. I know he’s just a character in a show based off a character in a graphic novel but…what a man.
''My friend.'' ''Shane.'' ''My best friend.''
He loved his wife’s daughter, his partners daughter, his best friends daughter. Very powerful how much he loves Judith
Your edits are so good. Keep it up 👍
Thank you!!🔥🥹🧡
If Shane realized sooner that Lori was not worth the stress he’d still be alive.
Lori wasn’t the issue.
shane was the problem not lori
I’m surprised Rick wasn’t called all kinds of simp for loving and raising a child he knew wasn’t his.
Yep. Especially in today’s social climate.
“I had a friend” shows the most deranged photo of him in the show LMAO
Ok?
How is it deranged? It's literally him in his sheriff uniform 😭🙏🏻
Legit just him staring?
I think Lori and Shane was hunching before everything went down.
Me too they both was sus
He tells her about THE Shane "Lemme tell you something" Walsh
"What is that huh? What is that" lol
this is one of my favourite scenes. the importance of found family is one of the best aspects of the show in my opinion at least. especially in the later seasons, with Gracie and Adam
Damn that edit of Shane with the broken frame 🔥
Daryl just contacted me he’s not happy he refers to Shane as freind😂
What an actor man. You can feel right before he says " I love her" , he's gathering all the inner strength to utter the words.
Fun fact : Shane never wanted to kill Rick
He actually wanted rick to kill him and wouldnt leave the place until either one of them got killed
Exactly
the time where TWD was great
Shane just couldn’t stop challenging Ricks leadership 😢
Well technically Shane was the leader that formed the group that Rick eventually found. And Shane decided to share the responsibility with Rick. Then Rick started to become at the forefront do to all those they followed after the fact, coming to him during conversations. To later try and faze Shane out of decision making.
It didnt help Lori kept stirring the pot and toying with both Shane and Rick. This is why everyone hates her
Shane was more on point and saw the world for what it had become.
Perfect freaking music for this edit! Good job.
Takes me back to the very beginning when he first come out of the hospital
Mannnn I hate Lori so much. She ruined everything. A brother like friendship, years of bonding and trust and she even ruined every dialogue that included lines for her, which half the time was telling someone that “it’s not your call”
Oh, and a marriage 😂

Rick is the strongest man in the history of cinema
Imagine the badass group of Rick, Shane, Darryl n his older brother , Morgan, Glen, Michonne, Caroll, Carl, and Maggie if they stayed together then this show would have still been really good like the first 4 to 5 seasons.
One of the many reasons why we ❤ Rick!
First 5 season were total masterpiece ❤
“I know Judith isn’t mine. I know it. I love her, she’s my daughter but I know she’s not mine.” 😭😭
Tbh it sucks we will never see Judith’s reaction about her learning that Rick isn’t her dad lol. No matter what thought she will be Ricks
Shane is the reason Rick survived by blocking that door

They said if Shane didn't die, him and Rick would make the strongest duo. But they forget that Shane's death was one of the biggest turning point of Rick beside Lori and Hershel. Without him dead, we wouldn't get to see Rick became badass
But the problem was Lori. He told Shane to stay, but told Rick that he's dangerous
Doesnt matter who the biological dad is, shes a grimes through and through
