Sounds like a Stargate SG-1 episode.
Well that escalated quickly. It went from meetimg aliens and agreeing to trade information to 2 days later using their knowlege of alien tech to invent a plastic energy weapon to win the war against them. WTF!?
seriously, the aliens offered zero provocation, did I miss something? let meet with them then attack them for no particular reason?
Good plot, ought to develop this further!
Science Fantasy... When your science fiction is so far removed from it any science, it becomes a fantasy.
The Americans would never let that facility be built outside American territory. The very most they would concede is the Australian deserts and I doubt even that would be allowed.
The best location for something like this is area 51
A ceasefire with an enemy that does not have a goal of your extinction. But one that constantly breaks ceasefire?
What I've noticed in all these scfi stories is all these advanced alien civilizations are still always at war. It seems like the humans are the only ones who have evolved.
The video is very interesting and cool enough to be a movie or a miniseries.
