Story reminds me of the time my station got a new custodian... She was a borderline functional germophobe... darn place got REALLY clean. Made me appreciate the concept of utilizing peoples phobias or mental issues into something positive.
Jack's names reminded me of: In the sea, flailing around in the waters is what appears to be a drowning person desperately clinging to a piece of drift wood. They immediately pull him up and it's clearly another fellow pirate, with long dark hair, a red bandana and eye liner that seem to defies the will of the sea by staying on perfectly at all times. And after spitting up enough water to drown a lesser man, the stranger introduces himself by saying "Today will always be remembered as the day that you rescued Captain Jack Sparrow."
This sounds a lot like there's some chunks that were from an AI generator. By that I mean look we need some grease and grime look my hands they are shiny and smooth and clean. Your hands are not what are clean.

I know this problem. After my wife gets so disgusted with how my garage looks and cleans it, I can't find nothing in it.
A simple janitor became a celebrity but stayed humble.
So ... They can build a space ship, but they can't wipe a table down?
This is one heck of a OCD
Exactly what I thought
A tribute to the humble nobility of a lowly Janitor in their menial tasks‼️❤👍

Why can't you make a story without bits missing? It's not hard to proof read before posting.

There is much material to be mined from Humanity"s various mental quirks. Human OCD, neurosis, and phobias, fanaticism are good for stories.
Every com officer ever knew was OCD clean

what happened with the engines room??
