Next year Ford Performance should bring the Raptor trio for Finke... Ranger Raptor, Bronco Raptor and F150 Raptor all deserve the "Raptor" name and would be a wild show for fans :)
It is only the Ranger Raptor that is actively encouraged by the manufacturer to jump in stock form, to the best of my knowledge. Do you think Ford has the same confidence in the other two? 🤔
Ya know, I was gonna say "and the 3.5l EB from the base F150 Raptor!" - but, on second thought, maybe they should just go ahead and drop the Dark Horse Mustang's 500HP 5.0l in there instead(marketing wise, that would pair up nicely with the 5.0l powered Ford Raptor T1+ car being developed for next year's Dakar rally).
As a Chevy guy (Silverado TB and Colorado ZR2 owner), this was so fun to watch! What great production Ford put out! Chevy definetly screwed up racing the Silverado ZR2 and not the Colorado ZR2 though. The Colorado is built so much better for offroad racing than the Silverado, minus the big 6.2L.
These videos of the Ranger Raptor is why I bought mine! Love seeing it and great work Brad and team! Also how do I get myself one of these FP RR Jackets
I would love to see a video where a stock 3.5l on 35s has to race a truck like this. It would be and AMAZING commercial to show off the F150 platforms... I know that truck is capable of bouncing around like that
So the truck comes with 33s but they race this on 35s? What are the specs of the wheels and tires and what needed to be done to the truck to accommodate the 35s?
The shocks are threaded, they set the ride height based on the weight they were carrying. For 24, they did a new shim stack and port layout, but all internal to the dampers. The springs are standard, bodies are standard. Live Valve recalibrated to suit.
Not much more than the correct offset and a wheel alignment to use full size 35's, and then maybe a shock re-valve and spring based on expected weight due to the roll cage and other accessories to re-center the correct ride zones
@@NathanFrank-qz4dq with the standard FOX shocks fitted to the Ranger Raptor, they can be re-valved for height or zone adjustments as I have done it to my one through Mikes Shock shop in Brisbane, I had it reconfigured for my on board weight and up rated springs. As for fitting the 35" even before I had up rated the springs and with a fitted bullbar and winch, I only needed the correct offset and an alignment to fit them
So what’s the specs on the Ranger? It’s clearly lifted and tuned…. Can’t just lift my Ranger Raptor due to the Live Valve shocks so is this something Ford will offer for our trucks? I’ve already added the Ford Performance tune.
In 2023, they had Method 703 Beadgrips (I think, might have been 207s), and BFG 305/70R17 KO2 tires. This year in Baja, they had Method 207s, and they said 35's, but they're probably 315/70R17, not sure if KO3 or KO2. Last year and this year, they used special shock bodies that are threaded, you can see the threaded shock body when they pulled it out of the truck. Last year they said this was to return the truck to stock height after adding 200+ kg in gear. Last year they did not revalve the shocks, but did recalibrate them to make sure that with the added weight and raised spring perch, the bypasses were still operating in the proper zones. For folks talking above about revalving, I'm real curious is they actually are swapping out shim stacks, or recalibrating for the new ride height.
After watching this I took the plunge on a Raptor. Picked her up yesterday. What a machine.
Love seeing those Ford's racing! Go FORD!!!!!!

wont be allowed to race as the bronco and f150 are both not sold in aus, therefore cant compete in the class

Ford needs to make a Ranger Raptor “R” with 35s.

I'm a Chevrolet ZR2 fan, but this was an awesome video!
Yeahhhh buddy 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Wonder how many times they have to fuel up per race lol. My raptor drinks fuel like Barney drinks beer.
How many ks do you get per tank on average?
@@nathansharma87 350km. It's actually ridiculous. Put hydrogen kit and now around 650km per tank with 1liter of water per tank.
@@tyronvangreunen You don't actually have one do you... Hydrogen kit = 650 km's hahah.

How to get a hold of Ford Raptor hoodie ??

they also have revalved shocks that cannot be done to a normal car, u cant replicate this

Yup
Omg the worst, unskilled drive I have ever seen, no sense. thank God raptor saved itself .♥️♥️
Would really love to be able to buy a sweatshirt like that if it’s possible please
wheel offset?
👍
That is not fair because the Silverado is in a different weight and size class. The Silverado probably has a big V8 where as the Ranger has a 3 l V6.
Production truck is production truck.
Stock tie rods or u upgrade
Where's the overhyped Tacoma?
