nice win in division 2 ....i finished 7th...came across your videos which are great.im soooo glad they sorted the tyre model as the audi took forever to come alive👍
first time viewer here. thank you for this. as a Hyundai Veloster owner IRL, I've always wanted to like the TCR's. Seems I need to try them more seriously this season!
You aren't kidding, Jay. It is a night and day difference with the new tire updates. I'll have to fit in some odd week TCR races for season 3, in addition to GT4.
Hi Jay I bought the TCR car at the start of the last season and was not happy with the way it drove but after watching your video I think I might try it again see what I think.👍
I thought I did last night, however, it's been confirmed that there's no change to drafts but the tires can get you even better exits out of corners. Which I suppose, if the person in front of you doesn't, you're going to get that gap closed that way!
My reply from another post on Reddit: From personal experience, the BOP for the series is very good on the majority of tracks, but these are my short overviews on the cars: Hyundai Elantra - The easiest car to get into, a fantastic all rounder & a favourite of the series, can take curbs well. I will always recommend this one to newcomers. Hyundai Veloster - Similar to the Elantra but a shorter wheel base, meaning it’s a rocket on circuits with many low & medium speed corners, also great at taking curbs Honda Civic - My personal favourite, very fun to drive another good all rounder. Curbs can be difficult as they unsteady the Civic easily Audi LMS - The original iRacing TCR, different gearbox to the other 3 but makes its starts very powerful & straight line speed hard to beat in a drag race. Struggles as much as the Civic on curbs. I hope this helps!
@@Max__apex The BOP is very close so you can get away with any TCR you want. However, I really enjoy driving the Civic, it will always be my main & I personally get better results in it 👌

You’re a great ambassador for the TCR Jay. Thank you.
That means a lot, thank you! Fingers crossed everybody sees the light & the Touring Car Virtual Challenge becomes a home to the many!
Hey, that’s me!! Couple more laps you definitely would’ve had me there. Good race
The easy part is catching, the hard part is passing 😏
Good racing!

Welcome in Glenn!
Give the TCR’s a shot over the Week 13 series & hopefully we’ll see you on the track this coming season!

Absolutely do it! I’m looking forward to the influx of newcomers & returners over the next few weeks!

Nice finish mate
Nice 1 Jay
Nice drive mate.
Based on the release notes it sounds like they implemented the latest GT3/LMP2/GTP tire model.
You have hyped me up to try the TCR’s this week. Great video again.
Have you noticed any changes with the draft?

What overlay are you using
Morning Josh, I use iOverlay
Runs better on my PC than some of the others & has the important bits I need 👌
Which is better the civic or Elantra ??
